how can u discredit or disregard that video. The quality wasnt perfect but does it really need to be perfect wen u see something liek that? that is one of the most convincing videos i have ever seen and think about this! why the hell would the dogs be barking if it was just a light in the sky? and if it was an airplane it would be a series of flashing lights one to two seconds apart. this is a UFO. Ah but there is nothing like seeing a UFO for yourself. Here's my sighting story:

At 16:10 on Monday the 7th of April 2008 I left Paris Charles De Gaul airport bound for Tunis. My flight number was AF 2384. (Air France) The aircraft was an Airbus A319 and was travelling at an approximate altitude of 35,000 Feet. Between 17:00 hours and 17:30 hours I was looking out of the window on the left side. I noticed in the distance above the cloud cover and slightly higher than the flight a large oblong shape in the distance. It had a greyish coppery colour. I watched the object for some time thinking to my self 'Could this be my first UFO sighting?' The object was sitting still in the sky. It looked solid. Not clouds or anything explainable. As I was watching it I noticed to the right at the cloud level a small dark shape that looked like a fighter jet travelling in the opposite direction from my flight. It was small but I could just about make out the shape of the tail and nose. Behind the jet was it's slipstream, dark in colour. I watched the jet fly up over the cloud cover heading towards the object I was watching. The jet then turned right and up getting closer to the object. Then I saw the jet do a zig zag motion towards the object. I could tell the zig zag motion by watching it's slip stream. As it got closer I noticed the object (UFO) get small very quickly then it disappeared as if it was moving away from my flight and the jet.

About 15 minutes later I saw the fighter jet fly in the direction as the plane I was on and descend back down through the clouds. Obviously going back to base.

I don't know what country we were flying over at the time but I think it was southern France

I am sure this was a UFO. I can't explain what else it would be. And I don't think a fighter jet would be chasing nothing. If there were any other passengers onboard who saw this too I don't know.

But I am confident in saying this was my first UFO sighting. And I hope to see more.......

I wouldn't know how to report this case because most officials will disregard it. The only thing I can say is that you are just lucky to have ever seen one. I have done a lot of research on UFO's and possible alien origins and so far have came to the conclusion posted in my blog. I have had a lot of theories and agreements to my arguments. Check it out. I think you may find it interesting. Let me know what you think. I am always open to new theories.

The sighting that I have to say here is from 1977 ,, In Tehran, Iran ,, I was 15 at the time and was watching the full of stars night sky with a couple of friends from the balcony of our house ,, suddenly we noticed a bright dot in the sky but initially didnt give it much attention as the path of aircrafts preparing to land at the airport would give one a full face vision of the planes for a few seconds as they approached ,, so we thought its the headlights of the plane but to our surprise it did not fade away ,, as the time went on so did our curosity ,,

A good few minutes later the shiny object that was standing still began to move ,, it was hard to say at what speed as we could not figure out how far up it was ,, at a relatively medium kind of speed it cruised to another point to its right for about 5 seconds ,, it stood still there for about 30 seconds ,, then it moved again to another point a bit further up with exactly the same distance as the first move ,, it stood there for about 30 seconds again and finally moved to the exact initial point making a three 60 degrees nice triangle ,,

it was there for about a minute and then with a 20X faster speed it suddenly flow across the sky like a meteo and disappered as it had crossed the possible view ,,

2 days later, the at the time famous newspaper, Kayhan, reported the incident, saying that it was picked up by a crossing Air France and also spotted on the Mehrabad airport radar ,, it said the mighty air force sent two F4s up to see what it was but eventhough the pilots spotted it too but they could never get close to it as it would move away from them ,, and it said that the object speeds away with a speed much faster than the fighters to follow it ,, this is documented of course ,, and its not the only one here ,, plenty of such events happen here all the time ,,

This is not a question about the existence of the ufo/ufos, in this case it basicly proven that the phenomena is real.
Really really interesting. And the best part about it is that it has even begun interesting more "serious" scientists.

Hope this hasn't been Posted already. It is one of my favorite. Almost all the witnesses were Police Officers. I only live 30 miles from this area. It is titled "Ufo Over Illinois".

I dont have a link available but would like (an others may too) anyone who may be able to find a link to a russian ufo incident, the first i heard of it was on a video done by roger moore about ufos. The part about the russian ufo showed what appeared to be a half buried ufo.

There are a number of ATS threads on it, just google on "Soviet" "UFO" "Recovery", and you should hit most of them. The general consensus is a staged propaganda film. It's very odd that the "craft" didn't damage any other trees in the path of it's alleged crash, and the way it's in the ground seems more like it was "set" there, than as the result of a crash.

Jury is still out of course, but some fishy elements to it.

Re: classic UFO cases, maybe I'll wet your whistle a little bit with the following. I'd have to nominate the infamous "SWAMP GAS CASES" which took place in the State of Michigan, during March, 1966. These cases raised such a ruckus on the front pages of newspapers across the country, that the U.S. Air Force (Project Blue Book), facing serious public pressure, sent their "front man", Dr. Allen Hynek, to Michigan to investigate. Hynek was instructed to hold a press conference to explain the strange lights seen in Dexter, MI., on the night of March 20 as well as the very next night at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale,MI.

I've investigated this case throughly and can tell you that dozens of people in the above two cases saw something. Some said it was a craft and at both sites the incident lasted for some period of time. Police were involved in both cases. (Just a note--I have the original 2 page report from the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Dept. giving summary of what took place at the Dexter event. I also interviewed the Sheriff at the time, Doug Harvey, who told me, "my men (at least 10 who were present) saw something---and it wasn't swamp gas."

I'll have to leave it right there for now----I'll try & offer more comments later if time permits. If you're interested in what happened to Dr. Hynek (who I label the Grandfather of UFOLOGY), or more about this event, you should not have a problem finding more---for instance Google MICHIGAN SWAMP GAS CASE. Keep your eye on the sky.
