Everyone is religious they just do not realize it and there fore act very poorly, I am guilty on every other day!
Science thru sub atomic particle physics is proving there is a consistent flow of sub-atomic matter that permeaties all shortly it will be scientificaly proven this matter is conscious and everywhere all at once and in contol of all at ounce. Name it what you will and go to war over the different names.
It will not change the outcome.

Well said Tut.

An arguement like this will never be finished until all members agree that religions are all one in the same and derive from the Sumerian texts based on the science of the planets.

i.e Anu (Sumer Abraham) - Ra (Egypt Moses) - Yahweh (Israel) and then onto Christianity.

Jesus was the SUN of God like all of us are created from the SUN. The sun thus being the creator.

And by the way Jad, Buddhism is not strictly a religion, it has many different schools of thought, that are at odds with each other.

Take care.

T - Totally depraved. Man can do nothing for his own spritual good including the acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Unconditional election - God choses whom He wishes to save
Limited atonement - Jesus died only for the sins of those who will be saved.
Irresistible Grace - When God calls his elect into salvation, they cannot resist.
Perseverance of the Saints - once saved, always saved.

Wow...and I thought Jehovah's Witnesses had it bad!

Seriously, this view seems rather elitist...and downright pessimistic.

For the record, I have my own ideas on the cosmos, and they don't seem to conform to any standard dogma that I can think of, though undoubtedly, others have the same idea. That there is no intelligent "being" behind our creation, but that thought itself, is more of an entity, that then influences the physical matter in the universe...

I'm a atheist, or, as I like to pretend, Priest of my very own religion, wich has no name other than "My own system of belief".

All Hail Discordia!
