Now heres my question - Will white heterosexualt teachers be able to teach black history there? That really gets me.

What's with all these gay things coming up now? There's all these gay-based shows with characters who are gay, and movies with people who are gay and now all these things on the news about people who are gay. It's cool with me if people are gay, I don't have a problem with that. But I feel that the media is trying to make people accept that there's going to be gay people in society. I think it's gross when I see two guys kissing, and it's like the media want to make being gay a thing where it's not a big deal to be gay. Is that a good thing or bad thing?

First of all, What makes you all think that this is the right way to think? I have never in my life read such posts. Freemason,Thomas Crowne, your views of this are the exact reason that this country is going to the dogs. I ask you this....both of you....is someone sticking things up your bum? Is someone making you dance the macarena when you dont want too? Is the life of a homosexual making your life any harder than it already is???? What nonsense. Weather or not homosexuals are allowed to adopt children, go to separate schools, have parades..is not going to affect your personal lives you know why, cos you wont allow it. Can they're thoughts change the world? No.

My views are only as strong as they are and I apologize if I have offended you because i hated fags too, until my brother died in 1996 of AIDS. He was my best friend. And no belief in the world can take away what he was. And I am furious that the world will allow people to think for an instance that it was his fault. Because it wasnt. He did and followed what he felt was true. He was his religion And no one. including you two are ever going to make me believe any other. Good points, and sorry for your loss. I've asked my brother (who is gay), and as I thought, he too believes this to be a bad idea. Not for discriminating, or anything else, but for the same reason I first mentioned....

Such a school will NOT prepare the student for the realities of society after graduation. Likewise, he and I agree that tax-payer dollars should not go towards such a school, except in the form of the voucher program, and it should be a private school. However, if I were the parent of a gay student, I would NOT want them to go to this school. They will have to learn that not all of society tolerates them, and they will have to deal with it. I'd rather them learn that sooner rather than later, and also learn it without trying to also put food on the table and pay the bills.

Weather or not gay people are allowed a school or park is not the issue. The idea that we live in a country which allows freedom in general. Should be allowed.
We are here because we are a melting pot. We see people, not numbers. This is what makes us the United states. People shall qoute from the bible and what they believe to be true but in the end, this is there belief.....not mine. The bible says treat others as you would have been treated.......so what.
Gay or strait......black or white....we need to except what is......and that is...we are here and now....we cant change the past we can make better the future...with not words of hate but acceptance.

No we do not need this. This is in a way segregation. No one deserves their own "special school". If gays can have their own school I'm going to open an all straight school and get arrested for racism. While I'm at it I am going to make a TV show that has only white people on it,and get hung for racism. But blacks and gays get their won "special" things. All race things are bad. If we are going to have all gay schools and all black things we might as well allow all white things,but wait thats racist to have something all white.

Anyway,its a waste of taxpayer dollars to build this school,just like we crapped $2 million down the toilet for the study of gay Indians.

Correction i feel the same way as they do. And your brother dieing of aids was not his fault? Must have been because he let his gay partner stick his package in his pooper. Im sorry he died but i have little pitty for fags. Homosexuallity is a choice- your brother chose to be homosexual thereby taking on the risks that come from that life style(IE aids). Im sure ill take some flame from this because of my views, but it will only further my point.
