Well, he 'sorta' resigned I guess. He's staying until they find a suitable replacement from within his liberal party. But at least maybe Canada will find someone who's not a complete putz like Trudeau is.

Well, I think most Canadians are bright enough to see the path they are currently on is absolutely NOT working.

So, there's that.

I wonder if we can force Newsome to resign too, he is the worst of the worst and many in California already hate him.

To think that democrats are even considering him for presidential candidate is beyond me, anything coming from California is toxic.

The liberals will still be in power, but conservatives have gotten ahead of them in polls.

He knows that he has absolutely no one in his corner. He is smart to leave on his own accord and I am sure that will help the current government not pursuing certain things.

There have been some investigations that are not very good for him and his liberal friends in office in Canada also.

I saw a little blurb, that he was expected to step down.

But why now? Why hasn't this been widely reported as a possibility?

Our republic may not be perfect but at least “we the people” get to vote every four years for our nation’s highest office. Canada might get Trudeau out but the party will just pick a clone to take his place.

The Democrats like that process though. They picked their nominee without giving the people the benefit of a primary.
