No. The fallout from COVID was folks not seeking medical treatments etc and hence not being diagnosed with serious health problems etc.

And, we have an increasingly and significant aging population.

Not if we only allow about 1 million annually as we have until recent history. A relatively small and managable amount of vetted immigration, relative to overall population size so smaller numbers in the UK, is fine because it facilitates assimulation. Civic knowledge and a desire to become an American is lost with mass illegal unvetted migration. It causes problems in schools, hospitals, etc. When illegal immigrants can't read or write english how can they drive to work safely. Many of these illegal immigrants would never be allowed in our country if they went through the vetting process. They are unable to support themselves and do not love our country and have criminal records-all disqualifying factors. It is literally unsustainable to allow an overwhelming number of unvetted migrants into any country- ompossible to have without detrimental results. Why would a country allow mass illegal migrants into the country put them on public assistance- housing, food, stipend- close schools to house them in some instances all while our veterans who fought for our country are left behind, unassisted. Disgusting, no way to run a civil society.

Did not want to sidetrack but America was founded by pioneers and the native americans fought one another and were eventually conquered just like England conquered their land/country just like Mexico, Spain, France and the lot of them. The way countries were formed, came to be was through a bloody battle, a conquering of a people-sometimes countries were able to negotiate expansion but not the norm.

What the Biden administration has done is facilitated illegal immigration. Much of the illegal immigration was allowed to happen. No conflating, legal immigration includes a process of learning english, civic duty and it aint free-it costs money and takes time to become a naturalized American citizen.

Ok, fair enough. Just one more point on US illegal immigration. It is illegal to enter the US anywhere for any reason other than a "port of entry".

I think England is a beautiful country with an amazing history along with other European countries. It seems to me, without having ever been to England, it seems that mass immigration is happening in the UK along with most white civilized countries, just a fact right. We are not seeing mass immigration to Liberia or any other African nation by whites are we or Asia..no we're not. It seems that the whole diversity cult is about having white countries in Europe and North America-which have a better economic infrastructure-with a slower population growth as a justfication for being invaded by mostly non white-anglo saxon immigrants who, by the way, are being allowed to enter countries irregardless of law or process and being harbored in "sanctuary cities" where they live above the rule of law.
Am I the only one in this discussion seeing this? Am I the only one being honest and not afraid to call a spade a spade? This is social engineering by elites to strip identity of race and culture, why? This mixed race/transgender social structure is part of the transhumanism philosophy /religion. It's also the easiest way to break down societal & national barriers that stand in the way of one world governance.

To know someone's true intentions, you don't focus on what they say. Talk is cheap. Pay attention to their actions. Observe repeated behavior patterns.

Musk says he bought Twitter to protect free speech. However, at this moment, he is throttling the algorithm on X to promote "positive" content and demote "negativity". He's also setting up a social scoring system where AI grades you on the value of what you share on his platform --according to his idea of what defines positivity vs. negativity.

Musk will continue taking control over world communications and the global economy when X becomes the "Everything App" replacing the banking system. People really need to ask themselves if they're genuinely comfortable with this man rising to world dominance. What makes him worthy of trust? Once he establishes his system of control, there's no going back. He can't be impeached or voted out of office. His system will be a permanent fixture.

Trump either doesn't know how to properly vet his inner circle, which makes him an idiot. Or Trump is in on it, which makes him evil.

In the begining I was not a Musk fan but since the purchase of Twitter and his support of Trump, helping Trump get elected, and his amazing rockets among other things I began to see him differently. Now that he has gone a bit back to the old Musk which I hope doesn't become a problem. Bottom line Musk & Vivek either cut 1.5 trillion off deficit or move on. As far as the replacement theory, it's all too obvious to me. We definiteky need to keep an eye on Musk and make sure Trump stays on task.

I read the post and it spoke to Elons credibility more than anything. We all go a bit off topic, where exactly was the UK mentioned? What opinions of the UK were in that post? What I mostly got from cherokeetroy's post is that he agreed with my point on mass immigration and that Elon, at best was compromised and at worst is a double agent-deceptive. I thought your agreeing with cherokeetroy was you admitting I had the situation with immigration correct.

If they enter into the nation legally, contribute to society, pay taxes, and abide by the law of the land, why should we care what religion they happen to be?
