It's got to be done, that's just how the cookie crumbles.

The alternative being failure and the end of your bloodline.

Never mind anarchy in spades.

As to life being hard, its what we make it, but if it was simple then i imagine interest would wane. Apathy and stagnation, well thats how civilisations fall.

while seeing the defeatist attitude on full display is good for knowing who you are conversing with, it's not how things actually work. Managing who comes in and why is important, and the key to STOPPING the civilization from falling. And yes, it's hard. Being on the side of allowing any and all into your borders is the wrong side of history, it's a bad look.

I suppose all civilisations eventually decline or transform over time.

Down to a multitude of different factors like environmental changes, political instability, economic issues, inequality, corruption, and external pressures from other places.

The trick i imagine is not to collapse entirely.

The age we live in today might look different, but somehow i suspect it's just like any other.

All that being said stuff going gentle into that good night.

Like Dylan Thomas suggests "Rage, rage against the dying of the light".

Rant over, and no more red wine for me. LoL

Keep that open mind.... some Brits don't agree with Carpy in everything he says on behalf of the rest of us.

I keep seeings problems like this. Something is afoot in England and more broadly Europe. To some extent it is here in North America too. There is a caliphate that has been going on for some years now, gaining ground, losing ground but nonetheless a caliphate persists.

“The story was highlighted on X by former Tory prime minister Liz Truss, who said: ‘This is Jess Phillips, the same Home Office minister who excused masked Islamist thugs. Her title ’Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls’ is a perversion of the English language. It’s clear whose side she is on’.”

Starmer is turning a blind eye

55 seconds, being accused of islamaphobia is allowing this caliphate to persist

No caliphate here, and in case you've not been keeping up, I detest Starmer and his minions.

I was not directing that post to you.
I have seen much more than what I posted. It seems some in the government think there is a muslim problem and are not speaking about it due to the possibly being labeled islamaphobic. In the United Kingdom, natural population growth is negative, meaning more people die than are born. Yet the population continues to rise at record rates because the immigration to population ratio is so exceedingly high.

“Muhammad” is now the most popular name for newborn baby boys in England and Wales, according to a report released on December 5 by the United Kingdom’s Office for National Statistics.

Natural population growth is not negative:

www.ons.gov.uk... rim

"Over the 15 years between mid-2021 and mid-2036, the UK population is projected to grow by 6.6 million people (9.9%) from an estimated 67.0 million to 73.7 million; this includes 541,000 more births than deaths, and net international migration of 6.1 million people. "

That migration figure is not "illegal" immigrants, by the way.

Did you see that? Your link..

First thing is that is a projection of 15 years ahead and yes the population will grow due to mass migration. The "natural" population is no driving that growth.

Here is some more....

In fact, in the most recent year, natural change (births minus deaths) was only at plus-400, the lowest reported figure since 1978. And, interestingly, deaths outnumbered births in every region, with the exception of London and the West Midlands.

the demographics aka caliphate- are changing dramatically

Births v deaths is not negative.

We have always had migrants. They are not all illegal.

www.gov.uk...

"In the year ending June 2024, there were 38,784 detected irregular arrivals, 26% fewer than in the year ending June 2023, and 81% of these arrived by small boats."

Far too many, but not millions.

True, but data is conflicting. I think the broader issue is that there is data showing the combination of mass migration and the larger family sizes of muslims has created a huge demographic shift. In my first post members of both the citizenry and government have been slow to address this in fear of being called islamaphobic. I think a country and their citizens have a right to determine the immimgration process and impact it will have on it's culture and polopulation. To me, the UK is in a pickle. Even though I am not in London England I still can converse with and read stories from Londoners and what I hear and read speak to a changong city and country. Some areas of London are hard if not impossible for police to patrol, is that true? Do you think this is conservatives making more of it? I know this is a touchy topic for some.

It's always been a changing city. Migrants have helped add to its diverse culture.

It's full of Indian curry restaurants, Turkish barber shops and kebab takeaways, Chinese restaurants and takeaways, Chinese and Polish supermarkets and everything.

It's not all Muslims.

I regularly visit my relatives in South London.

It's changed, but mostly for the better.

There have always been dodgy places in London, for decades.

In the 80s my eldest stepdaughter was stopped by Police driving her BMW in New Cross with the roof down. They said "Are you mad?!!".

Not Muslim related.

Not sure how this Thread has deflected from Trump's indecent proposition to Canada to perceptions of an active Caliphat in UK/EU?

Seems to me this 'Canada could become US 51st' is an echo of when evil leader Heath sold us out to the then EEC. By us, I mean UK and the Commonwealth.

The same Commonwealth that represents 35 nations and 26% of global GDP. A huge trading bloc that does not include America or Europe and does not deal only in $ and €.

We may be, in Putin's words, an 'insignificant little island' (led by another insignificant little man) but we do have an established stake at the helm of more than a quarter of all global economics and trade transaction of which, Canada forms a significant partner.

You're right, it took an immigration turn because Trudeau hasn't kept the morthern border secure and then we went to overall immigration. I really wanted to add this too.
this is very sad to read

C'mon Trudeau, protect our northern border. Look at the impact mass migration is having elsewhere!!
Now we're back on track.

might be interesting if you want a bloody drawn out resistance to deal with for decades but without an ocean to protect American infrastructure and logistics like we usually have had during past wars.
