If each Canadian province and territory were made a separate state (which is more logical than making the entire Nation a single state) there would be 13 new states added to the US. I'm guessing most of them would become Blue states instead of Red states. Seems like that would make the US electoral college and the popular vote more Blue and less Red.

I can't see how Trump and the Republican Party would allow that to happen.

To be fair it's NYC and Albany that would need to be corded off. The rest of NY is pretty much red. As a matter of fact I can name a few cities in red states that should be disowned, like Houston TX.

Personally I think this is Trumps master plan to achieve US dominance in hockey!

Yes, it's a JOKE. Not that he said it as a joke but a joke it is none the less. See, one of the greatest concerns of Trump supporters is the concern over the developing One World Government. Trump has said he would be open to the ldea, not only of having Canada as part of the USA, but Mexico also joining this nation. Add to that his desire to purchase Greenland and what do we have there? Basically the entirety of Northwestern quadrant all one nation. Trump's nation.

I't's Globalization that Trump is after, globalization under him. Oh yeah, better to believe that he is joking.

But the thing about him joking or as I like to put it, freely expressing any nonsensical whim that floats though his mind has one major problem. 'Some of his faithful, not all of course, but some will believe one of those ideas is great. Or some will believe another and some will believe almost anything that pops out of his head. Some will pick this up or that up and the gears begin to spin and word gets back to him and off he goes on one tangent or another believing that whatever is reflected back to him from his intelligent faithful must be and intelligent idea and him, being very intelligent himself he will believe he is on to the right thing to do.

Yeah, I know, TDS Terry. But he has also suggested that a great governor for the US state of Canada would be Wayne Gretsky. Yeah, better to think he is joking rather than a mental invalid.

I would vote yes purely to receive the first and second amendments.

Although there’s many stand up conservative valued people in Canada, it also has a large “woke” population too. So…. that’s going to be a hard no for me. We’ve enough of our own problems that need to be resolved before we inherit any other country’s BS. I don’t think for a second that Canada would allow it anyway.

Im surprised no one has mentioned the North American Union conspiracy. I think it was mentioned in Zeitgeist or some #e. Anyway, a union of Can, USA, and Mex has been in the works for a long time.
