His mother was English, born in Liverpool, so to be fair, when so many US citizens claim to be Irish, after multiple generations of the ancestors who were actually born in Ireland...I'd say he has a stronger link to Britain, than most 'Irish' Americans have to the emerald isle!!🤣🫣

What's unconstitutional about British citizens, or others, calling for another GE?
Don't us Brits call for the same 'overthrow' of leaders we consider dictators?

I don't have crayons to explain it to you
Maybe, but given the size of it's majority it's unlikely to happen soon.
"I believe the concentration of power in the hands of fewer people and the abolition of local democracy through the current proposals of super councils is nothing short of a dictatorship, where local elected members, local people, local residents will have no say over the type and level of service provided in their area," he said.

She was born in Canada, not Liverpool.

Yep, my mistake, it was his Grandmother born in Britain - his dad's mother.
I was listening to an interview with Elon's dad on the radio yesterday, he's pretty passionate about his British heritage, so I can certainly understand why his son also is!👍
*Edit
He's still got more genetic links to Britain than many in the millions of US citizens who call themselves Irish!🤪

Starmer has problems internally as well as externally , the internal ones are the most problematic with the resignation of 20 Notts Councillors losing him that Council and the resulting statement they released is damming but added to the brewing Back Bench revolt by dissatisfied Labour MPs and the promised revelations about Kier due in Lord Ashcroft's Red Knight Starmer biography due to be released in the Spring the next few months will be filled with peril for the Dear Leader.

As Harold Macmillan said when asked what were the biggest problems for a statesman his reply was 'Events, dear boy, events' , Starmer has a lot of events coming up including the growing calls for an independent inquiry into the Oldham grooming gangs with Labour wanting Oldham Council leader Arooj Shah to organise it which to many stinks of a cover up.
He may have a large Parliamentary majority in numbers but without the support of his MPs that counts for little , he's losing support among the grass roots members with party membership falling last year and whispers say there may be a plot within the PLP to depose him after a poll last year found over 60% of people said he's doing a bad job.
It should be an interesting and eventful year.

Probably, but whoever might replace him will probably be worse.
Labour is not exactly packed with good PM material.

Streeting or Rayner? Burnham was the bookies' favourite but he's not currently an MP.
At the moment the job is a poisoned chalice.

I think Burnham might put his eyebrows in a silver case when he goes to bed...
