Yep I read about that, all she needs to do is order a nice audit to the corrupted prosecutors and judges, in NY I bet the excrement is easy to spot on all of them.

They all have skeletons in the closes, NY politicians are great at that.

Umm, she's in favor of red flag laws, circumventing the 4th amendment and violating your Constitutional rights based on reckless accusations.

She's a RINO and will be a major disappointment. Let's see how smooth or rough her confirmation will be.

Point is, the swamp (more like a bog really) will get their puppet backstops in place as we naively settle into a false sense of comfort thinking "it'll be okay" or "great pick, she'll do well", which is great and all, but for whom exactly??

It would be unwise to assume that because Trump did the picking that it must be "alright". Look her up for yourself, and watch the confirmation.

I don't like her.

ETA:

Donald Trump's second choice for Attorney General is likely to find a warmer reception in the Senate than Matt Gaetz did, but she could face some hostility from Second Amendment organizations over some of her previous positions on guns and gun control.

Pam Bondi served as Florida's attorney general for eight years, and was in office when the legislature crafted its response to the 2018 shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

"In a time of crisis, it's about finding common ground, and that's what Gov. Scott has done," Bondi told Fox Business host Stuart Varney in March of that year, as the Florida legislature was in the midst of passing legislation that, among other things, raised the age to purchase a firearm from 18 to 21 and established a "red flag" law in the state.

OH so now it's "common ground" when it comes to our rights?? Yeah, she's a terrible pick and if confirmed, it won't take very long to realize that.

Not sure that fits my point, but anyhow. The Liberals play the demonizing game, we do not need to,

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is urging the Speaker (or the hacker) to release all "ethics reports" on every sitting member of Congress. Would you be in favor that? I would!

Absolutely!! Provided the report was compiled by unbiased sources. You bet!!

Where do you get all this? It sounds like you listened to The Dana Show. She is very close to the Trump Family and has been on his legal team. Her red flag is only when someone is commented for mental issues, and 72 hours later a judge can determine when they should be given back. Also raising the age of gun purchase to 21. I don't have an issue with the 21 age part, the other would be hard to do except in extreme situations. FL is open carry state, so I don't see her pushing all that to some Fed level.

You want to nick-pick that, but the current AG would love to ban all guns, so this would go nowhere. Also explain why she is a rhino.

Do your own research. I'm sure I included a link to get you started.

This whole thread is filled with blind allegiances and unqualified opinions, not to exclude my own to be clear. I'm no soothsayer. I'm just going off her actions and her words.

She has a terrible track record concerning the second most important amendment in the Bill of Rights....you know, it's #2 in the list. To me that signals her putting herself, womankind, children, animals and her favorite flowers ahead of people protecting themselves mostly from government overreach and harassment.

Not to mention the coming illegal horde of "who knows" that Biden is going to let in before Trump takes office.

Just When You Thought Illegal Immigration Couldn't Get Worse, Biden Does This...

www.zerohedge.com...

But yeah....still don't like her because I've seen this movie already.

My point is the dems can't get rid of your guns so neither will she. The Right plays the 2nd like the Left plays abortions.

Whatever group takes over, I want them to start with the oldest (expiring) crimes first, and work their way forward. The 2015/2016 criminals (Obama & Hillary) should be priority #1.. That is what I'm petitioning for where the incoming administration surfs online.

There are other ways to effectively disarm people other than taking their guns, and my point is her stance is indicative of someone who thinks its okay to bend our rights yet she's going to be AG?? Not a good start, ymmv.

Well then, give me a couple of ways when a person is hospitalized for mental reasons that could lead to a level of violence and is then released to go home 36 hours later.

Okay, you mentioned a "hospital for some mental reasons". Here in California we have voluntary and involuntary psychiatric holds ranging from 24hrs to an indefinite stay with room, board and meds if you're nutty enough.

I assure you that violence, the real whack job types of violence, regularly occurs in mental institutions. Probably not has frequently as a state or federal prison, but it's still a very unpredictable environment.

If it's voluntary, you can leave when you want. If it's an involuntary hold, you'll have to be assessed before being unleashed onto society.

Your hypothetical scenario is related to voluntary holds OR an involuntary hold but the patient is assessed and released early.

That was what she was saying as in the "only" case that someone is committed for mental issues to put a 72-hour hold on their guns and to allow a judge to determine if it should be more.

Her view is if someone has mental issues and is committed then the State needs to secure their guns on some level which could be 72 hours or longer if a judge sees a threat to do so. I agree that could be abused, but when it is state level then vote in others if it is.

You sure do know a lot considering you mentioned "where do you get all this?" Lol. Obviously, you're aware of it too so why present being coy initially?

You know exactly what I'm taking about and you're making excuses for her infringements because....?🤷🏻
Is that where we're at now? It's kinda alright if they're picked by Trump because what? "Trust the plan"??? I'm getting rerun vibes personally. I hope I'm completely wrong about it all.

I'm currently not encouraged but like I mentioned, others mileage may vary.

I didn't know so I looked and found that The Dana show talked a good deal about it. I do not like her because she sensationalizes everything too much and I get bored quickly. You see it as a deal breaker and I see it as a non-factor on the fed level, AND it is extremely narrow in focus that you failed to mention.

BTW I'm 100% 2nd, 28 years military 15+ guns etc, BUT I don't want crazy people to have access to guns, and everyone should be locking up their guns too so their crazy 15 year old can't get them either. With great power comes great responsibility too.

FYI:

When Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy helped to impeach President Trump 2019, Florida A.G. PAM BONDI came to his aid by exposing the BIDEN-BURISMA criminal connection. But against the rabid Democrat House Majority, Trump and supporters didn't stand a chance.

Yeah, there's already laws for all that. How can you be 100% 2nd yet you want people who are not crazy to loose their rights because you don't want crazy people to have access to guns.

Sorry pal, it comes with the territory. The idea is to be responsible for your own safety instead of trying to create your version of it for everyone else.

SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

Geezus, you took an oath same as I but now you're suddenly "enlightened" and making your own amendments to that oath??

Well, us vets are adaptive if nothing else. Thanks for your commitment while you were in.🤷🏻
