It's not even a partisan issue. "The Hague Invasion Act" of 2002 is still U.S. law.

U.S. vs NATO, U.N., and European Union seems quite serious at the moment.

I was thinking about the U.S. using the military to deport immigrants. That could turn into acts of war too. Consider GITMO: couldn't get emptied and shut down because countries refused to re-patriate their citizens, like "they're terrorists, you say, we don't want them. They're your problem."

Central American and other countries can respond similarly: "What? You want to empty your prisons and jails into our country? No! We don't want Hannibal Lecter, keep him!!!"

Then the U.S. is like "Our planes will strafe us a clear path through your borders to return these criminals."
