Another thought that enters my head is what do you imagine it will cost to deport each person?

Multiply that by 11 million, possibly more, if what people are saying is to be believed, and i wondering who foots the bill?

And again the logistics involved in moving 11 million people most likely to somewhere they do not wish to go is going to be rather problematic.

The illegals that came in, aren't all "vermin", most came here for opportunity. Most want to work, and raise their families. Most want what they imagined the USA to be.

Yes, these people may not be "vermin"- but they came in illegally too and that's the most important point.Our hospitals, schools and infrastructure let alone the cultural and demographic change that occurred in such a short time-our country and communities cannot and should not be subjected to this. We all know and love legal immigrants and we all know our immigration system which is the best most open immigration system in the world. Elon Musk articulated the real reason democrats are doing this when he was interviewed by Tucker Carlson. They ALL need to go and come in legally.
The swing states are tight in terms of voting margins- they are determined by 10's of thousands of votes. FOLLOW HERE...when the democrats put 100's of thousands of illegalls in these states-which they have done- and give them a work permit then they will be eligible to vote in 5 years and these illegals will vote, mostly, democrat and all the swing states will turn blue-California is the model. It’s a hell of a lot cheaper than to continue paying for their housing, education, food, medical, clothing, ph’s, housing the criminals in prison and their court cost and flat out bankrupting our welfare resources for citizens all on taxpayer dollars. No one is above the law, right? If we can send unlimited billions to Ukraine to save democracy the we can do the same to save our country. I was talking with a reasonable liberal at work about school vouchers. Her argument was it would kill poorly run public schools and I said so what? I asked what is more important the school or the kids and she felt that somehow to lose the school would be the worst disaster ever without looking at other options while they already live in a hell hole.

I asked would you like 30 to 1 ratio of kids to teacher, gang violence, drugs, crappy teacher who don't care anymore etc, or would you like to send you kids to a charter school paid for with school vouchers and get 15 to 1 ratio, teachers paid more to get the best ones and dump all the bad stuff.

She still doesn't want to let a failing school fail and just keep pumping kids through the same crap.

I was talking to a Black woman working at a hotel last month and she told me her nephew was shot and killed the week before, and we both agreed that these dysfunctional areas need some way to get the kids out of there in some way or another. Might be sports, music for the talented, or it might be they go to a charter school and see a different direction in life than what they view as their only options within generations of dysfunctionality.

Liberals just want to keep them poor, keep them difunctional and offer things that never come true. Trump did more for the Black community than the last 5 Presidents combined, but you know he is a racist, so don't vote for him. geez

I'm not convinced this is an all or nothing kind of thing.

If we give those who wish to, the ability to work, pay taxes, become part of the United States of America, give them a way to become citizens, and be able to vote, without demeaning them, we might find that they aren't going to be a monolithic block of democrat voters. They might realize that because we have rules, and order, we have the nation they risked their lives to enter, and being a part of it, means looking at the much bigger picture, then who's handing you a $500 debit card today.

I think a lot more thought needs to go into this, before any knees jerk.

I had a thought about Mike Rowe working with some educators to start up some trade based charter schools, if the school choice movement worked out. Just think of a way for kids to try out all the different trades, and perhaps find one they love, are good at, and want to do for the rest of their lives. Most don't get the chance to try all those things unless they luck into a job that they enjoy. And if those kids go all the way through, and don't like that kind of work, they can go to college and become anything they like, but they will have tried those other things, and at the very least, have an understanding of what they entail. I sent Mike a message about it, but who would listen to a fat white guy in rural NC.
