It was inevitable that this would end in a stalemate, the question now is, does Ukraine try and wait it out 4-5 years and still get pounded into the mud, or do they negotiate and have a chance to rebuild now?

How long is Putin going to last?

The other big problem for Russia is they would need to have about 2 million troops in Ukraine to maintain control. It's a huge country and it could be more painful than not if they take it all at some point. We are starting to see air war with Ukraine using F-16s and that is just one more thing not going well with Russia. I call the war so far WWI style with drones, just think when Ukraine gets the good stuff...lol

Yep, a classic lol. And being we lost the last 13 troops, he might still send that bomb if he gets back in haha.

Drones can't hold territory, they can harass TF out of troops trying to occupy territory but drones cant take and HOLD territory. Thats the rub here the fly in the ointment, the monkey in the wrench, neither side can hold the extra territory. Look at the map these borders have been static for a long time

There is no indication Putin is on shaky ground internally if he was going to tumble, It was during the Prigozhin raid toward Moscow. How did that end up? At the most Putin's successor has already been positioned and is likely a Putin ally or he wouldn't be in the position.

Secondly what if all Russia gets is the territories it held before the invasion, Donetsk and Crimea? What if Putin and Russia had a financial cost to the annexation of those oblasts?

There's plenty of room for negotiation, or there is plenty of room for spending 2-5 years to kill thousands more on both sides and spend hundreds of billions of dollars with that being the ONLY result. After all of that, we will still have to negotiate an ending.

Ukraine keeping all the red-bordered areas should be the absolute minimal starting point. I love if they could bet the Crimea but there is no way in hell they can take and hold it. REALITY

I agree with everything you said, but I must update this point to a million dead.

Ok guys i get your point of view,
I am very confident that my prediction is pretty much what will happen .
How's that Mexican wall coming along lol.
" Trump is feared by many countries", yea but not for the reasons you think.
Anyway , we haven' got long to wait .

Your Resident Boogeyman

If TRUMP was the current president, it would be done by now. He isn't. The chaos you speak of isn't happening under his watch, nor did it. It IS happening under the current administration though. Please quit scapegoating a past president for the current president's failings. Better yet, quit blaming the USA for other countries bad behavior. Unless you have proof the USA is directly responsible......and if you do, you would see Trump has nothing to do with it.
