Then there are those who would be denied a vote due to being under occupation by the invading force and then those who have been forcibly relocated to Russian hinterlands.

As I said in a previous post the biggest stumbling block to a ceasefire seems to be Putin's ridiculous pre-conditions.
I suspect Zelensky would consider an immediate ceasefire to enable genuine open and honest negotiations to take place to put an end to this senseless war.....without the pre-conditions.

So, do you still think that the situation in the US is exactly the same as that in Ukraine?

Yeah but here's the thing we sold we had to fight in Vietnam, why?

Because we had to stop communistic expansion or they would overtake Asia....

Now we are being sold that we need to stop Russian/Communistic expansion because it will overtake Eastern Europe then they will be powerful enough to take on NATO countries and kill or enslave us all.

I don't think that's the case. For a start, Russia isn't Communist any more.

The thing is, Putin wants to rebuild the old Soviet empire and if he's given the green light then other former Soviet vassal states will be next.

And, no way can he take on NATO. Or even Poland on it's own. Which it isn't but just saying.
