I think they may be spooked, someone whom I do believe has no official degree in law went on a rant of criminal liability of the mods for continuing to mod a site with no real admin.

It just proves someone has access to the site database if indeed they are able to change our information.

My P.C. was attacked too, about 2 days after Xuenchen. But quickly restarting my home router changed the I.P. address. The onslaught has not happened since.

Good idea to reboot router everyday now! ☠️

As someone who witnessed it all in real time, in my humble opinion there was no targeting. They went after whoever was online at the time and used this thread as bait to mess with whoever posted in it. We members initially opened ourselves up to any 'targeting' by simply showing up.

Then there was about an hour when no one posted anything, so troll went down the recent threads list and started going after OPs and members who replied in threads etc.

Members are in various stages of dress because they probably didn't bother to change their avatars back or gave up trying, or simply logged off instead. I had to change the animated hammer/sickle myself like 15 times.

I chose to keep my edited signature line because I made reference to it several times, as in, hey beware, troll may actually have more larks to come. I can change it though.

Some members ran for the door and I don't blame them. Troll seems to be in bed for the moment though.

They did reveal that PMs are not safe so please post with caution to each other. No sensitive info! OR you can do it safely off-site on discord or other sites etc.

Yes, please treat ATS as compromised. It's not the first time we've been through this.

The troll was making several signature changes based on what we were posting, so many of our replies might seem non-sequitur or confusing.

it was a hacker a couple of us were here in real time changing our stuff back after they he changed our profiles. he even got to where he would write stuff in our mini profile back to us.
