Euthanasia of ATS

Just a question to toss out there, with the new site up (Deny Ignorance) and Discord running, and the fact that no new members can join ATS, instead of slowly dying a long and lingering death, why haven't the mods just banned everyone?

No one could post anymore.

Topics would fade away into irrelevance.

Is it time to pull the plug?

I'm going back to my original thoughts - It's a 3-letter agency, why else would someone keep dumping money onto a dying horse?

Apparently, ATS has become somebody's vanity project.
It's all about owning and nothing about maintaining.

I like it here though I like reading on DI but I feel like I'm not sophisticated enough in my posts to really be able to post over there. I dont wanna lower the quality of that site hehehehehehehehe !

Mind you, I also have a trusting belief in fairies at the bottom of the garden.

If DI would list the new topics and the author instead of the last topic commented on and who the commenter was I'd probably switch.

I've often read topics on ATS that I have no interest in because I like the author's writing style, and have avoided reading favorite topics for the opposite reason, so it's an important feature for me.

I spend too much time on the internet anyway; maybe I'll just take up housekeeping again.

Yeah, if they had a recent post with which forum, it was posted and increased the text size it would be much better.

I kinda said the same thing at DI.

That someone should just flip a switch to stop the death process.

It would be kinder.

So essentially we're "hermetically sealed".

Without the ability to reproduce, this site will inevitably die off anyway. Let's hope that changes.

It’s just like what’s going on with my favourite game Red Dead Online, just feels like the owners are trying to kill it off.

But instead of going for the mercy kill of a straight headshot, they’re just going for the death by a thousand paper cuts kind of deal… for some unknown reason.

You can make the fonts bigger on your browser.....that's what these old eyes have done on ATS, DI and most sites.
