I think Trump and his supporters are milking this whole ordeal at this point. I mean, sure it was serious that this guy had the intention. But a bit of perspective is needed here… he never fired a single shot and Trump was never actually in any danger.

Jade ?

Who's the last POTUS we've had in America with multiple blatant attempts on their life ? Milking ? No jade it's not being taken serious enough and here's the thing eventually someone will get lucky and actually shoot him .

The real question is how many times has this happened and we don't even know about it ?? How many actual attempts have there been on Trumps life ?

I recall the FBI blowing an elderly fellow away for even threatening Joe Biden .... Do you recall that ?

Members of Congress are telling former President Trump the FBI/SecretService cannot be trusted to protect him properly at this point. That he should hire his own security detail for the next 47 days. After President Trump wins, the attempts will stop, unless "they" plan on taking out Trump and Vance before the treason tribunals would begin in 2025.

I'm just so confused like does the secret service or Trump's security not go to these places beforehand and check it out? I feel like it was totally preventable because the guy is hiding in a bush for 12 hours supposedly like they don't do a perimeter check or anything before Trump goes there?? What is going on?!

President Biden had the amount of security around Donald Trump reduced. The "moles" stay, of course.

I get the feeling most Americans, even MAGA, still can't wrap their head around the likelyhood that our sitting President is attempting to have his/her political opponent killed.

The GOP can't even conceive of it, even though they know Obama-Hillary ordered the multi-year coup against President-elect and President Donald Trump, and Democrats have repeatedly used wording/messaging to Democrats that Donald Trump needs to be killed.

If he is killed, our nation will be taken over by whomever we invite to run/rename what's left of America.

There was an attempt at another PA Trump rally, about 3 weeks ago. A madman tried to rush up to where Trump was speaking, but was tackled and taken away. Our anti-American media was disappointed, so very few reported on this.

Oh shoot. He must’ve not had enough time to prepare.

Yeah like bushes and hidden areas a few hundred yards from where Trump will be isn't a good location for an assassin. 😃

Sure let's just skip it this time.

The top priority now is finding the "mole" inside the Secret Service who is tipping off these assassins. Until he/she is captured and squeals on who is giving the orders, these various attempts will continue for the next 45 days, or so.

Don't be too surprised to find out that the "mole" isn't from within the Secret Service, but, instead, from within Trump's own campaign team.

Especially since, in this instance, the decision to play that round of golf was made, according to reports, just that day, only a few hours before Trump tee'd off.

It would be a bit if a stretch to expect that a decision made early that morning to play a round of golf at a particular time and place was transmitted back to SS/DHS headquarters to whoever is responsible for plotting an assassination, and then expecting that official to reach out to whoever contacted Routh and provided him with the details of Trump's movements later that same day! in order to ambush the former President.

But neglected to tell Routh that the SS would be performing a security sweep ahead of Trump'sapproach to the ambush site.

Of note:

It is very likely that everyone on Trump's security team at the golf club had, in their possession, a list of every known or suspected individual in the area who could pose a threat, with all of their available details. It would be part of any credible security briefing for a high value person, public or private.

He could have been a radical conservative too, because they caught the guy by the Media pit, and Donald Trump was doing his usual bashing of the liberal media at the time.

Here he is: ny1.com...

Looks like this might be privately-hired security taking him away.

At any given time, there are probably a few hundred "Rouths" or "Crookes" residing within 5 miles of where Donald Trump will be speaking, golfing, visiting, etc..

That's why I keep reminding officials who pass through Truth Social that if Trump is killed, every one of them on "the list" will be brought to justice by the millions of citizens who will hunt them down, 24/7, where ever they may be on this planet.

These are a relative few individuals actively pursuing President Trump, and they still got through the security net twice in 65 days.

"They" need to stop endangering the entire nation. Stop trying to kill the man most Americans want to see as our President.

UPDATE: ANOTHER SECRET SERVICE WHISTLEBLOWER...

The Secret Service allegedly told former President Donald Trump’s team that it did not have sufficient assets to secure a rally the campaign wanted to hold in Wisconsin, according to a new whistleblower account.

A person with direct knowledge of the exchange provided the whistleblower’s account to Sen. Josh Hawley’s office.

In a letter to Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe, the Missouri Republican asked whether such a denial ever occurred.

The whistleblower alleged that the Secret Service “effectively forced the Trump campaign to cancel an upcoming event in Wisconsin,” Mr. Hawley wrote.

“Other whistleblowers with knowledge of Secret Service planning protocols allege that failure to provide protection for a major public event is highly unusual and that a sitting president would never be denied resources in this way,” Mr. Hawley said.

If the whistleblower’s allegations are true, Mr. Hawley said it contradicts comments Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe made in a press conference Friday, saying Mr. Trump is “getting everything that the current president has with respect to Secret Service assets.”

“That same night, Secret Service secured a rally for Vice President [Kamala] Harris in Madison, Wisconsin,” Mr. Hawley said, pointing out the “apparent double standard” may be influencing the presidential campaign.

Yeah... the deep state armed the guy, paid his airfare, gave him the info on Trump and then say it could have been prevented. No duh. Like in Butler, they let the guy get in and take position and then sanitize the crime scene when he fails.
They're not inept, they're corrupt same as Biden/ Harris. Well inept and corrupt.

"Since Donald Trump decided to go golfing just a few hours before hitting the course, it's likely there is a MOLE** inside the Secret Service who told would-be assassin Ryan Routh to head over to Trump's country club and wait in a spot that would be left open for him."

But wasn't Routh there for quite some time before he decided to go golfing?

It will be interesting to see who from the White House is communicating to WHO in the Secret Service to enable these "oversights" that make it easier to murder former U.S. President Donald J. Trump, the #1 political opponent of Presidential candidate V.P. Kamala Harris.

Second Attack on Trump Preventable? Secret Service Was Aware of 'Known Vulnerabilities' at Golf Course: Whistleblower

Thank-goodness most of the Secret Service personnel that day were not part of the plot, and spotted Routh before Donald Trump had come close enough for him to take a shot at the former President!

Alternate theory - These attempts have been intended to fail with the express purpose of 1) Making attempts in the news become more mundane and “normal” and 2) to slowly but surely paint the Secret Service as wholly inept which will make it a lot easier to point fingers once the real attempt is made.

The SS has access to every asset known to man. It is not unusual for them to have persons attached to our Tier 1 JSOC units on TDY to bolster SS when manpower is needed. As Asset protection is one of those unit’s primary missions when they aren’t actively in combat, having them cycle through is standard practice. That includes ISA…

This “we don’t have the manpower” line is absolute BULLSH_T. IF they don’t have enough manpower, that’s because they aren’t asking for it.

Secret Service is gradually being made out to be barely a grade above Barney Fife when in fact they are historically one of the most capable protective details ever conceived. They regularly test fuel that will be utilized by the detail overseas a year in advance, but they can’t perform a cursory search of the immediate area and potential lanes of fire for a former POTUS? Nah. I have worked with local LE who cover their bases for visiting dignitaries much more thoroughly than this supposedly single-asset committed entity.

We have drones and satellites that can read a date on a penny, yet it seem any yahoo can sneek close to presidents and other elected officials undetected.

Does this seem right?

Which is even more suspicious, how long was he there? This makes your questions answer even worse for the SS. They missed that security breech for how long? Especially in light of that location being a known weakness in their perimeter! That makes it seem more probable there is a mole embedded in the SS. Otherwise why was this area not subject to inspection? A rookie mistake from our supposed top people?

FCD pointed that out to me in the days immediately following the attempt.
The more I think about it the more I can only assume it was gross negligence and incompetence by the SS or it was by design.
If its the latter then there is something seriously amiss.

When you consider the fact that the SS are supposed to be the cream of the crop as far as personal security goes, it's hard to argue the former.
