Should be interesting come tomorrow to see how this plan evolves. Probably looking at an aerial bombardment which is actually taking place right now. Followed by a special military operation to force Hezbollah north over the Litani. The IDF might go for broke and take over the whole of Lebanon. I can't see how the Lebanese can be given independence without a major power like the USA getting involved to keep out the Syrian's and Iranian's. If the Lebanese can't keep these influences out then maybe direct control is the best option. Israel tried this before and while it was costly in terms of military deaths at least the northern communities were safe and faced no terrorists on the border. Now what's going to go off like a fire cracker who knows but should be worth keeping an eye on. The only real answer and probably the inevitable end game is the elimination of Iranian influence in the eastern Mediterranean and at the same time taking out the nuke sites scattered around Iran proper along with total destruction of their military industrial complex. All about Iran.

Israel existed before the romans came in and illegally renamed it. SO the land is always been called israel there by their descendants.
No the only fake people there are jordanians pretending to be palestinians.

Also the Arabs LEFT BY CHOICE,and as such gave up ownership of said property(if they owned it at all) when the arab league said they would destroy israel. They fought over th eland,and by Arab rules of war the land became the winners.

Don't derail the thread, anyway the facts................... Forget the lie and non present reality on the ground that Israel has no right to exist. WW1 not going well for Britain, factories out of acetone for making munitions essential to wars continuation, Weizmann invents ethyl acetone, munitions production back on track again, Krauts lose the war as do the Turks (who owned the area of Israel pre WW1), they got defeated by British forces under General Allenby, now the land is ours. Weizmann gets the Balfour Declaration as a reward for saving the British war effort, now we run the land and hand a proportion of it to Israeli's. Apparently, this operation has been 15 years in the planning. Strangely good timing for it to be ready for triggering just now.

Israel had a hand in the manufacturing of pagers that exploded on Hezbollah operatives this week, with this type of "supply chain interdiction" operation having been planned for at least 15 years, a U.S. intelligence source confirmed to ABC News.

The CIA has long been reluctant to employ this tactic because the risk to innocents was too high, the source said.

Planning for the attack involved shell companies, with multiple layers of Israeli intelligence officers and their assets fronting a legitimate company that produced the pagers, the source confirmed to ABC News, with at least some of those doing the work unaware of who they were actually working for.

In a speech Thursday, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said the group's top leadership had old pagers, not the new ones used in the attack, which were reportedly shipped in the last six months. The group has begun a full investigation into the explosions.

"Not all of the pagers had been distributed and some of them were turned off," Nasrallah said.

"Over two days, the enemy wanted to kill at least 5,000 people. ... The enemy knew that the pager devices numbered 4,000," he added.

So, the opportunity to get the 'top leadership' has been missed. Time to hatch a new plan.
