𤣠Hey, I don't care that he's endorsing him. I just asked why as people tried to claim they are so aligned when both people clearly state they are not aligned.
These next few months are going to be entertaining as heck with Trump, Kennedy and Vance. Who will out crazy who?

Because they are not communists. That's how.
You believe we will be a classless, stateless, society where the government owns the means of production and there is no private property because kids might get free lunch and some new home owners may be eligible for a 25g grant. đ¤Ł

No, I believe they are communist because of not only their policies but their ability to place a candidate no one voted for.

Do the two of them truly align though, or what is it really about?

Price controls would be a disaster, but not new. There are price controls now, and Nixon did a broad sweep up them (which is how we know it would be a disaster).
While it would be a disaster, and is already a bad look. Not quite communism.
Edit: one side is running on âprotecting democracyâ, and the other is implying weâll slip into communism⌠which is a very similar take. Both will cry foul if they lose and come up with some intricate theory too. One will be Russia, the other will probably say China and or Iran. Ironically theyâre all allied.
âEssentially what weâre going to do is set drug prices so that American consumers are charged a price for drugs that is the average price that is being charged around the globe,â Harris said. âFor any drug where they fail to play by our rulesâand if that drug came about because of federal funding for what is called R&D, research and developmentâI will snatch their patent so that we will take over.â
âWhen an invention is made using taxpayer funds, under certain circumstances march-in authority under the Bayh-Dole Act enables the federal government to license the invention to another party.â
It allowed the private sector to retain patents for innovations that received federal funding. These recipientsâwhich include businesses, universities, and nonprofitsâhad to abide by certain stipulations. Among them, the government retained its right to âmarch-inâ if a product was not being offered to the market on âreasonableâ terms.Â

Despite our opinions, democracy has been taken off the table and it's not looking great for keeping a Republic either where somewhere around 50 percent of voters side with communism.....
