We had an attempted political assassination just a few weeks ago. Do you seriously think heavy security at political events is a bad thing? No one of any party should have to risk their life to express their opinion or vote in this country!

Maybe find something a little less delusional to criticize the democrats for!

see, there is this idea about securing the vote. People think that in order to vote you should validate who you are, so everyone who votes, is who they are supposed to be, to stop cheating. (with me so far?) Anyway, when this was brought up, one side got really angry, and claimed that proving you are who you say you are to vote is raycist. Since black folks aren't able to obtain ID. So in many places, you don't need ID to vote, because of that group.

Now, are you at all curious as to which group I am speaking of? Yea, the same group that the OP mentioned due to their walling themselves off and requiring ID to enter and vote. (this same group was against a wall to protect the border as well, which only adds to the irony.)

So here's the problem republicans have created. You made it legal for cops to arrest people on "suspicion of being illegal." Are they going to arrest while people? No. But a Latin person who is a citizen can be arrested on that suspicion if they try to vote. That is blatant voter suppression. I know it is by design! Your own dead guy put it in writing that the future of the republican party relies on despicable voter suppression.

I hope we get a democratic sweep and they pass federal laws to end the career of any cop who detains or arrests based on these racist state laws!
