Don't worry. No one is talking about US citizens.

It's fake news.

How long did it take to figure that out in this thread?

so there is no such person as Sir Mark Rowley, and he didn't say the things the video of his talking says? Was it a "deep fake" video? What proof do you have to counter the news outlets who covered this?

Can you show me where he mentions US citizens?

Pretty sure he was referring to the likes of bail Dodgers like Tommy (not his real name) Robinson who fled the country to avoid Court.
edit on 14-8-2024 by Oldcarpy2 because: (no reason given)

I’ll take your word for it since you’re closer to the situation.

But I gotta ask.
How do you feel about the immigrants doing their do and people that just talk about it get arrested?

www.bbc.com...

I read what this guy said and have a hard time understanding what’s so bad that he deserves jail.
I think I heard he plead out to two months in jail to avoid the six months that comes with the charge.

I couldn't see what it was he said but he pleaded guilty. You get a discount for doing that.

It's not people who "just talking about it".

More like folk who publish addresses of migrant hotels and urging other to attack them, or threatening to set fire to mosques and the people in it, etc.

That's not what he did in this case.

Pre-law student from way back. Unless something has changed, the UK/US extradition pact requires dual criminality for a citizen of one country to be sent to the other. Since nothing the UK is charging people for is actually a crime here, in so many words, extradition would not apply unless someone went above and beyond posting videos of the riots and went full on call to illegal action. Just be glad you live in the US were the laws actually protect our rights and aren't given to us by the government.
