Military build up Iran

Just sayin it's #ing shady that Blinken cancelled his trip and Hamas isn't showing up to the negotiations either. Is Iran gonna bomb the venue?

Iran would be completely insane to try to use a nuclear weapon they have never tested, first!



Even the US, which is said to be developing its next generation of nuclear weapons, is very worried because they have not, and currently , are not (under Treaty restrictions) allowed, to test whether the weapons work.

US nuclear weapons design labs don’t really need to test complete weapons anymore. Instead, they test critical components to make sure everything will work properly. We’ve been designing nuclear weapons for 84 years now, and test-detonated over 1000 weapons from 1945 to 1992. We know how to design them properly, for desired yields. We just have to randomly conduct component tests, such as triggers, detonators, tritium injection units, neutron generators, firing circuits, etc.

The US used a gun-type Uranium bomb against Hiroshima without a test.

That’s because the designers as Los Alamos has a very high degree of confidence the uranium gun system would work. Lucky for us they realized that they could not use the same design for plutonium weapons, due to the likelihood of predetonation. So that’s why they developed the implosion system, which is far more complicated than the gun assembly type. With the implosion type, they weren’t exactly sure what would happen. But the Trinity test proved the implosion system, and allUS nuclear weapons today use the implosion system in thermonuclear weapon primaries.

Iran has not developed nuclear weapons as of yet.
