We have just sent 2 Aircraft carrier groups and a nuclear submarine along with plenty of aircraft, something is about to go down in a big way .

There is no way we would send that kind of fire power just as a show of force -

Is a False Flag about to happen?

Iran would not dare to attack Israel with that many guns pointed at them .......

Iran likely has to do something since one of their allies got assassinated in their capitol right after their presidential inauguration.

Question is, will it be theatrical like last time where they give a heads up and almost all of it gets intercepted? Or do they take the gloves off and get Hezbollah to wear down the iron dome before the big stuff?

I could’ve sworn the US had 3 carrier strike groups there.

It’s said Sinwar wants peace talks and deescalation.

Israel about ready to annihilate him too.

As Netanyahu has no interest in stopping the show.

The carrier groups might be required if an evaluation of American citizens from the region is deemed necessary.

Similar precautions were taken (without a mass evacuation) just after the current war began.

As to the submarine; "Better to have and not need than to need and not have?"

ETA:

I'd be much more interested, and concerned, to know what the US long range bomber groups are up to.

Isreal lacks the long-range capability to significantly attack Iran, directly, on its own; whereas Iran does have ballistic missiles capable of hitting Israel (with somewhat dubious accuracy).

The US could deliver a few "suprise packages" to Iran, "for a friend in need", if it decided it was advantageous.

Didn't some rockets make it through the iron dome the other day?

I'm wondering if they know Iran has a Nuke and this is a statement "Don't do it"

Iran would have to be completely insane to use a nuclear weapon, of any sort, against anyone.

Not a false flag, just something to distract viewers from the Kam/Walz sh1tshow.

Iran would be completely insane to try to use a nuclear weapon they have never tested, first!

Even the US, which is said to be developing its next generation of nuclear weapons, is very worried because they have not, and currently , are not (under Treaty restrictions) allowed, to test whether the weapons work.

Aircraft carriers don't have the advantage they use too with drones and hypersonic missiles these days. Invoking martial law to cancel the election has been one angle if the polls are too big to rig.

The US used a gun-type Uranium bomb against Hiroshima without a test.

Yea, but I don’t think those rockets would do near the damage of a ballistic missile or UAV. I think most of those landed in the open, so maybe Israel just let them fall instead of blowing ordinance.

That’s not entirely true.

We can’t test them up to full criticality (where they go boom). But we can and do test them to sub-criticality out in the Nevada desert at a truly impressive underground facility. From that point on, computer models can predict the yield.

supposedly the new Iran president is a 'moderate'.

otoh a lot of the Ayatollahs are religious fanatics that think starting WWIII will please Allah into sending al-Mahdi down. they might be willing to do that.

I think you meant 'evacuation', and if that's the case this administration proved with the Afghanistan withdrawel that American lives are of no consequence.

They already washed there hands of them by issuing a statement 'if you want out, get out now'. It's every man for themselves' that decides to stay.....

I was hoping this would end up true: Iran mulls scrapping plans to take revenge on Israel in exchange for a Gaza ceasefire

Gotta wait and see where this is leading.

There are some dynamics in international relations that are just inevitable. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, it would have been impossible for FDR to not strike back. When Black September attacked Israeli athletes at the summer Olympics in 1972, it would have been impossible for Golda Meir to not strike back. When Al Qaeda attacked the US on 911, it would have been politically impossible for George Bush to not strike back. When Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022 it would have been impossible for Zelensky to not fight back. When Hamas committed their atrocities last October, it would have been impossible for Netanyahu to not strike back. Now that Israel has assassinated Hamas and Hezbollah leaders in Iran, it will be impossible for Iran to not strike back. Once Iran strikes back, it will be impossible for Israel to not strike back.

And so on, ad infinitum.
