This revelation is part of a filing related to Hunter Biden not paying taxes on monies received. But, the House Impeachment Inquiry Committee will use it if VP Kamala Harris wins the election (President Biden was forced not to run), or pass it along to Trump's DOJ, if he wins the November election. It's not likely money was received and the "favor" was NOT delivered...

Prosecutors in special counsel David Weiss' office are accusing Hunter Biden of accepting payments from a Romanian businessman who was attempting to "influence U.S. government agencies," while his father Joe Biden was vice president.

If true, the allegation would mark the closest prosecutors have come to tying President Joe Biden to his son's overseas business endeavors -- a matter congressional Republicans have spent years scrutinizing.

The special counsel's claim, in a court filing Wednesday in the younger Biden's federal tax case, stems from Hunter Biden's work on behalf of Gabriel Popoviciu, a wealthy Romanian who prosecutors say hired the president's son for legal work in late 2015.

If President Biden wants to protect Hunter, James, Himself, and other corrupted family members, he should consider the POTENTIAL Amnesty deal, if Donald Trump wins the election, 88 days from now.

High probability H.Biden was handling money for J.Biden for dozens of payoff liaisons in key places. 🍖

And also a high probability those Classified National Security documents stashed around Joe's House, Garage, and U.Penn office, were shared with foreign entities as part of the illegal CASH for SECRETS operation that Hunter-Joe ran as a partnership.

I would think that the Romanian guy was duped in his assumption Joe would actually follow through with any benefit he would have received from Joe. Joe is not someone you can count on to follow through with anything like that, yet he would possibly make the guy think he would benefit him. Joe is all talk but rarely delivers on anything unless there is a future gain involved. Paying Hunter ahead of time was not too smart by that guy. Although it is possible that money flowed somehow to that businessman.

Did Joe actually push anything through that would benefit that Romanian? If he did there would be some money trail for it that someone could research...it may have been allocated through different proxies but eventually benefited the Romanian business man.

They should investigate US or US business contracts which Biden could make happen through his contacts with that businessman around that time...either before or after Hunter was employed or contracted with him. It may have been that Biden influenced a contract with some corporation with military contracts to deal with that business man...clearing the path so a deal could go through.

By 2015 Joe Biden had a reputation for delivering. Are you aware of the shady characters who visited V.P. Biden at the Obama White House? According to the visitor logs, it was like the first 1/2 hour of Godfather-II.

Deals will be made to keep the worst parts of American corruption unknown to the public. It's for the sake of the Republic.

Apparently, most Americans have come to accept the corruption as part of how the U.S. operates. "Drain the Swamp" doesn't evoke much emotion now, and the more crimes Trump is charged with, the more Americans like him!

You shouldn't be stretching this hard at your age.

Respectfully what's it to you how far another member "stretches"?

Stretching your mind is critical to having an open one

The story has merit it's on ABC #1, and #2 there are a plethora of threads that stretch the bounds of credibility significantly further than this particular subject.

We get it it isn't your cup of tea, but some prefer coffee, and some prefer to start thier day with a little glass pipe.

FWIW, those from the latter group sometimes find themselves in bizarre situations, struggling for money, depressed etc. wouldn't you agree?

What David Weiss says about Hunter Biden and Romanian business magnate Gabriel Popaviciu:

"G.P. sought to retain Business Associate 1, the defendant, and Business Associate 2, to attempt to influence U.S. government agencies to investigate the Romanian criminal investigation of G.P., and thereby cause an end to the investigation of G.P. in Romania.”

““…the government will introduce evidence that Business Associate 1 structured a business relationship in an effort to avoid having to register as a foreign agent, and that the defendant and his business partners did reach out to government officials, specifically the United States Department of State.”

“…the evidence will show the defendant performed almost no work in exchange for the millions of dollars he received from these entities.”

The story, itself, has merit. But the OP's headline, "Hunter Biden Admits to Accepting Foreign Money for VP Biden to Influence Government Actions", doesn't.

Nowhere does the source say that Hunter Biden has admitted to, confessed to, these allegations.

So yeah, it, the headline anyway, is quite a stretch for a person of any age, really, based on the linked source.

Thanks for calling me "maam". That was very cordial of you!

I don't deny that the government has prepared a case against Hunter Biden. But I still don't see, even in your very nice citation, where it says that Hunter Biden admitted to any of it.

the government will introduce evidence

That sounds promissing, considering how much effort the government has put forth in recent years to hide evidence for political reasons.

I have to wonder why they're willing to hand hunter out to dry. Did Biden infuriate the wrong people? Or is he and his family going to thrown under the bus to protect their superiors?
It seems if the Biden family goes down that will satisfy the general public, restore some much-needed confidence in government agencies and the judicial system, effectively ending all investigations that would lead to higher-up masterminds.

I’m not seeing the part where “Hunter Biden Admits to Accepting Foreign Money for VP Biden to Influence Government Actions.”

Am I missing something. He’s being accused yes, but he hasn’t “admitted” to crappola.

The original point remains, Sookiechacha, Ive been on ATS long enough to see hundreds of other "headlines" more "sus" than this one.

When we excessively critique posts down to degrees of credibility it could stifle creative thought and an exchange of ideas and possibilities.

Hell I lurked for years before I finally registered, finally did circa 2002-2003. Finally posted a reply in a thread and proceeded to get skewered by Phage LOL and a few others. I really didn't post again for 2 years. Respectfully It's like I didn't want to piss anybody off, I was just dropping my thoughts off. Of course back then the most revered posters had the self-control, discipline and a minimal level of reasoning, and rationality to read a thread and slow themselves from responding unless it was contributing to the thread and fostering productive discourse. But I digress

Do I need to pull the headlines from back then?

Besides ATS has always had a Weekly World News vibe

Are you telling me you wouldn't peruse a thread on these topics?

Daedalus and his son Icarus escaped from the labyrinth, Daedalus’ own creation, using wings made of wax and feathers.
Icarus flew too close to the sun, causing the wax on his wings to melt and sending him into a fatal fall into the sea.
Icarus' story is often told as a cautionary tale about excessive ambition, recklessness, or disobeying good advice.

What happened to Daedalus?
He was bitten by a snake and died.

Excessively Critique? LOL Give me a break. The headline is a click-bait lie. Hunter Biden hasn't admitted to anything. You wanna change the subject and start a conversation about what a criminal Hunter Biden is? Have at it. But there's no need to be dishonest to achieve that goal.

That might fly when the OP is using the headline of the article. That isn't the case here.
