Trump just told FOX he is thrilled about Walz being picked by Kamala.

Trump on ‘shocking’ Walz pick: ‘I could not be more thrilled’

"I would say my reaction is I can’t believe it. I never thought he was going to be the one who was picked,” Trump said Wednesday morning in an interview on Fox News’s “Fox and Friends.”

“He’s a very liberal man, and he’s a shocking pick,” the former president added. “I could not be more thrilled.”

For several well-placed Republican insiders on Tuesday, the response to Kamala Harris’s choice of Tim Walz as vice-president was one of overwhelming joy. “We are cheering,” said one veteran Republican operative, opining that Harris had picked the weakest-possible running mate on Harris’s short list.

From my standpoint...

I too am thrilled that Kamala picked the worst of her options.
Although, I'm not really surprised.

She should've picked Shapiro...but the prejudice of her base wouldn't allow her to place a Jew one heartbeat away from the US presidency.

It speaks to, not only her poor decision making skills...but to her blind pandering to the "marbled-in antisemitism of the democrat party"...as Van Jones has recently pointed out.

Clearly, democrats are now fully 'out of the closet' where their antisemitism is concerned...essentially, making them no better than NAZIs. the KKK, Hamass...and other anti-Semitic groups.

Bad news for Harris and the sad state of today's democrat party...but good news for Republicans.

The funny part is allegedly he was picked because he's largely unknown.

Now the propagandists are out in full force declaring their praise for Walz.

And if the racism wasn't readily apparent with their support of DEI, it better be by now.

Remind me again, when was the last time the GOP had a Jew as a Presidential candidate or running mate.

By accounts from Shapiro's own people, his interview went poorly. On top of that internal polling showed that selecting Shapiro didn't make a mistake difference in Pennsylvania. That's why he's not the running mate. It has nothing to do with him being Jewish.

The simple fact is that Walz has broader appeal. She could've either selected someone that might have given her a state, with no guarantees, or someone that gives her a coalition. She chose the coalition.

Antisemitism has officially been institutionalized in today's democrat party...in the same way slavery was originally institutionalized in the democrat party.

Selecting Walz doesn't make a difference in getting Minnesota either. So your point fails.

The simple fact is that Walz has broader appeal. .

She picked someone who isn't a Jew that served with the IDF so she could have a better shot at Michigan and Wisconsin. DUH.

And?

When the last guy was accused of antisemetism, it was reminded of all the people surrounding him who are Jewish.

Yall didn't care and it wasn't good enough.

Does being married to him place him one heartbeat away from the presidency?

Doesn't change the fact that she obviously didn't pick Shapiro because he's a practicing Jew who worked with the Israeli IDF, and who has made statements in favor of Israel and against the 'palestinians'. Harris obviously didn't want to hurt her chances of winning Michigan and Wisconsin.

Shapiro was a better choice for VP.
But she went with the nonJew radical socialist instead.
The reasons are obvious.

No I just simply don't care if someone is Jewish or not. You guys clearly do.

Everything since Kamala has been picked to run for the DNC has been about race or ethnic background from the critics.

Says a lot...

I think I made my point pretty clearly. If Shapiro can't make a noticeable difference in Pennsylvania, why would she pick him when his more Conservative policies may put him at odds with segments of the voters she's trying to court?

Walz walks a fine line between Progressive and centrist and it's that broad appeal that made him the correct choice. It seems like he and Harris gave a good rapport which was apparently missing with Shapiro.

He's also won the Internet over, with Twitter and Tik Tok being flooded with wholesome memes. Something in stark contrast to the memes being made about Vance.

There's pretty much no downside to Walz.

There is no world where Walz is a centrist.

He's a tanky just like Heiress.

But I know you need to say this to appeal to a whole bunch of people....

If that's what he wanted then that's his choice and he chose Harris.

So what?

Have you bothered to look into his voting history at all or are you just parroting what Right Wing media is telling you?

His record in the House is very centrist and he's one of the few Dems that voted to hold Holder accountable for Fast & Furious.

Just to be clear here you're saying it's critics that are trying to make this about religion, race or sex when we can see by the deciding peoples own words and actions?

Just want to know what level of delusion is being currently dealt with is all.
