Here's the interesting thing about the polls we've been seeing. Trump got shot. The RNC happened. He got the official nomination. He named a running mate that, on paper, appeals to his base. His opponent dropped out.

Normally, you would expect even one of these things to lead to a bump in the polls. Trump had all of these things in the course of a week. And he has gained nothing in the polls.

That would imply there's a hard ceiling to his support. And if that's the case, it means he pretty much has to run a perfect campaign from here on out while hoping Harris runs a flawed campaign.

I still don't think the polls are accurate as polling methodology has not kept up with technology. But they're still useful in seeing fluctuations in the population that responds to polls.

If there were 100 polls taken, the only ones the media would show are slanted. TBH if I want real polling I reach out to the RNC friends for the 411 and what is really going on.

Remember, based on good internal polling Hillary cancelled her celebration in NYC a week early.

They know. This is all about how much money they can raise before the spigot is closed.
