The problem isn’t communism, the problem is guns.

Interesting take.
That’s exactly what a communist would say.🤨

Next the communists will tell us that it’s the best system and the reason why it’s never worked is only because it hasn’t been done correctly yet. 👌

Yeah , Nothing to See here eh ? 70 some Odd Years Ago it Started , but the Clueless of Today have no Sense of History and therefore are Ignorant of the Threat out of Indifference ....

Is this a self assessment ?

Well, my response is that I am not a communist. I voted for centre-right parties in all but my most recent national election.

Communism has failed historically.

The American system has also failed. It is no longer about ideologies and policies, but has become entirely personality centric - a popularity contest between 'famous' names. This is evident in that the general public cannot conceive of voting for the policies of a particular party but rather, everything is invested in a figurehead leader.

And, although their true history has been largely whitewashed for American citizens, the USA has been a string of many plots, insurrections, coup attempts and wars within its borders.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with my Union Bros/sisters. Not to mention the kickass health and retirement package and the fantastic union scale for hourlly wages. With my 20 years experience, I'm well over the starting scale which is $30 just to start. Capitalism at it's finest!!!

I don't see any commies on location or in the studio; just hard working middle class working people.

No, you are quite wrong. New Zealand is about the same as other 1st world countries, and its current government is a coalition of one middle-right party and two far-right parties.

They were voted in because of the economic recession here, in the hope that they would be hard-line on economic policy, but instead, they have wasted time and money denigrating our constitutional document (the Treaty of Waitangi), trying to demolish our health system, and trying to remove Māori names and bilingual documentation from government departments. This is because the core of right-wing ideology has always been strongly white-supremacist.

I agree.

What we're seeing now is more similar to China's cultural revolution with the struggle sessions and destruction of history.

I gotta ask... who is Mao, and the student red guard in your comparison?

When I was a teenager, my grandpa once told me to watch out for socialists and that he was worried for the future because they were infiltrating the education system and whatnot.

I didn't really understand it, at the time.

Targeting political opponents, AKA the Biden Admin like a "just getting started' red guard.
Its a long list they have just like the Mao brigade.

Mao and the student red guards didn't target political opponents... because there were no solid political parties at all during that time period in China.

Yes there were. And Mao targeted plenty of political opponents. I've been to China 3 times and have a lot of friends there, One of them has now passed on at the age of 95. She told me all about the cultural revolution and what people where targeted and killed. There didn't have to be "political parties, only different factions vying for power and influence. City mayors in big cities. You don't have any idea.

I would argue the opposite is actually true, people have become so obsessed with political ideologies that almost nothing else matters. That is why it's so easy for so many people to completely dehumanize Trump instead of truly trying to understand the type of person he is and what's in his heart. As Melania put it: "The core facets of my husband’s life - his human side - were buried below the political machine".

It's crystal clear to me the elite globalist douche bags fear Trump, and there are very few people who actually have what it takes to go against them and win. There really aren't many options besides Trump, obviously I would prefer someone who was less obtuse, but it's not about Trump, it's about the ideology he is fighting for. I can easily look past Trump's flaws because he's the best chance we have for preventing the coming dystopia.

You're being disingenuous on the subject. Comparing China back then to the US today is nonsense and you know it. Mao didn't have any political opposition, and the student red guards weren't even his creation.
