I really think the never trumper Karl Rove endorsement last week was a bad sign for Burgum. Maybe he wasn't the right guy afterall or maybe Karl Rove sank his VP candidacy with his support. JD Vance sounds like an SOB so we have that going for us.

It most likely came down to North Dakota vs Ohio. Vance brings so much more to the table coming from Ohio even though Burgum is good too. Vance is also a vet, and his wife is from immigrant parents, he is like bullet proof too.

That's a bad one if true. Like a lot of people, many changed their minds about the jab. I hope Vance has. But I'm still going to support him and if a situation arises where forcing vaccines is an issue, I will fight against it. It isn't a deal breaker but it is concerning.

I don't expect perfection from the leaders of this country. I expect intelligence, integrity, strength, respect, and love for the COMMON people and their needs and wants. We are all growing and learning. I change my mind on issues and hope I always have the integrity and intelligence to figure it out, when to stick with an idea and when to alter it or let it go. Life is fluid.

JD Vance reminds me a little bit like Nancy Mace along with the candidates Trump beat in 2016 primary. Eventually they come around to see Trump is mostly right on the issues, Trump is someone that takes a little time to warm up to. Many people, voters, are the same way... at first they didn't like Trump but now they are going to vote for him. Trump has four years to mentor JD Vance and get him ready to take on the mantle!
