It may be due to where I live, but I have never met a person seriously advocating for socialism in the USA. MOST people just want to live their life, spend their money the way they choose, and not be bothered. The Mainstream News would have you believe we are severely polarized, but I guarantee if you walk in the local bar or strike up conversations with randoms in public, you’ll find that is not the case. People have different opinions, but nobody is standing on the street preaching Marx and Engles that I’ve seen, and I’m in a pretty diverse part of the country.

Again, it’s all divide and conquer, if you take in what you read and see on the news, you’re playing right into it.
