I'm sure you will be able to elaborate exactly how so Zanti Misfit?

Because i think you may find that the likes of Russian artillery barrages and cruise missile/rocket salvos were responsible for the above carnage and devastation.

They Decided on Bad Leadership that led their Country into a war they could Never Win . Hitler made the Same Mistake in 1939...

Yeah, they bombed themselves and struck their own cities and infrastructure with Russian cruise missiles.

Funny you should mention Hitler and the mistakes he made.

Given that Putin is attempting to perpetrate something reminiscent of Operation Barbarossa in reverse.

The mistake Putin made was not realising Ukraine was not ready to receive his invasion farce with flower garlands and champagne cocktails or capitulate role over and die.

Or the subsequent response and condemnation from the vast majority of the United Nations and NATO support that came about and continues to this day.

I wouldn't worry too much RT. Its funny how the English seem to be the ones most critical on this forum. Yet, England, and most of the UK, is one big cesspool of rubbish, and shocks even its own citizens. Perhaps it is why most of its citizens have escaped, and continue escaping, over the past 400 odd years, to all parts of the World. Russia, and most of Eastern Europe, are considered utopias now, by most British standards!.
My favorite channel was Mr. Bald and Bankrupt....his adventures in Russia were very interesting.....until he got expelled. I enjoyed seeing the Ekratoplan, though sadly neglected on a Caspian sea beach. Also the Russia Space Shuttle....hidden in a warehouse out in the middle of the tundra.
His English videos are shocking....even he himself, a Brit, was shocked.!!

Britain is so # half the world wants to come here either to visit or live.
The other half of the world are so eaten with jealousy that they hate us.

There's no doubting parts of Russia are beautiful.
And I have no doubt there are some wonderful urban regeneration developments.

Some wonderful culture and heritage too.

Pretty much the same as most countries.

And I also have absolutely no doubt Russia has more than its fair share of # holes, run down derelict areas suffering from catastrophic lack of investment. It will have its crime hotspots, urban decay and rural poverty. I know Russia has its problems with addictions, violent and sexual crimes, disenfranchised people etc.
It also has many Separatist movements and Islamic terrorists.

All pretty much the same as any other country.

If the Brits hadn't escaped, your country wouldn't even exist. Have you noticed what the flag is in the top left of the Australian flag ?

Ironic really.

I take it Australia is a veritable paradise and garden of Eden then with none of the same too similar problems and dilemmas you assume the UK to be experiencing?

Else people in glass houses and all that jazz.

Just something to consider before disparaging our island with your derogatory assessment.

Are you saying the French sitting off of La Peruse, Botany Bay, would have just left if the poms hadn’t beaten them to the shore?

Or do you think the Dutch would have just stopped going to sea?

Who knows what the Aborigines would have been upto by now if they didn’t get interfered with!

And lastly, 🙂, who sends their prisoners to paradise?

Would it not be reasonable to conclude that the French would have likely established their own settlement if they had arrived first?

Considering the competitive nature of European colonial expansion at the time.

I am saying The Brits made Australia what it is.

That's why King Charles II is Head Of State of Australia.

Hope that claifies it for you.

Which assumption?

Not me that's making assumptions.

As to the facts, do tell?

Might clear up these assumptions I'm apparently making.

As to immigration, i dont think that would be a good idea at present considering the geopolitical and socioeconomic climate.

From where i sitting, "better the devil you know" would be my thinking there.

Some 3 billion people want to come and watch Liverpool tie with chelsea?

The rest are jealous of an overcast sky and the prospect of joining the downtrodden at 8 pounds an hour?

Dude. Why?

Admittedly the post your responding to is pretty funny.

Dude. Why?

I have no idea....I won the Lottery of Life, I'm born and bred English and British.

Maybe ask those millions that visit here every year and the millions that risk literally life and limb to get here either legally or illegally.
Or all those who are so obsessed with everything British and who's jealousy at what this little bunch of islands have achieved that they can't help but comment, criticise, denigrate and even threaten at every opportunity.

Me, I'm off out into the garden, get on the lounger and crack open a Peroni or two and contemplate the really important issues in this world like how can England win a major tournament with Southgate as Manager and should it be a Chinky or an Indian tonight?
