The counter-intuitive fossil fuel boom under Biden reflects an awkward truth for his supporters and detractors alike ahead of the November elections, proving that what happens in globally interconnected markets like oil and gas is often well outside the immediate control of the person in the White House.
In Biden's case, Russia's invasion of Ukraine pushed oil and gas prices so high that many producers worldwide made record profits, not just those in the United States. The global economic recovery that followed the darkest days of the COVID pandemic also rapidly pumped up demand for fossil fuels.

I'll do one for you.
Common lie: Biden's anti oil green positions are the reason fuel prices spiked.
Contrary information:

I go with this:

I think people blame each-other in ignorance. Every time the Trump/Biden did it argument is made I consider it a lie, with the emboldened part more in line with truth (for me).
Every time Joe says he reduced oil production. LIE.
Every time Trump says he produced more oil. LIE.
Woah Trump was pumping oil wells, Biden is shutting oil down, AND giving away our reserves.
U.S. crude oil exports established a record in 2023, averaging 4.1 million barrels per day (b/d), 13% (482,000 b/d) more than the previous annual record set in 2022. Except for 2021, U.S. crude oil exports have increased every year since 2015, when the U.S. ban on most crude oil exports was lifted.

The problem with a swap is funding. It isn't impossible but it is far from easy to transfer campaign funds like that...or so I have heard from much smarter folks than I on that topic.
WASHINGTON— Federal data show the Biden administration approved 6,430 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands in its first two years, outpacing the Trump administration’s 6,172 drilling-permit approvals in its first two years.
Trump literally LIED for 90 minutes and @CNN, Jake Tapper and Dana Bash enabled it by offering ZERO fact checks and push back. It was the most disgraceful performance by moderators in the history of presidential debates.
Worst possible showing for Biden. Trump even lied way more and Biden still got slaughtered.

Naw. I don't like the set up.
If i give you examples, you put me on the defensive to defend them. The set up is all wrong.
Let's reverse it. You give me some winning Trump points, or better yet, the MANY times MSM fact checked Trump as Lying and I'll give you my opinion on it.
Otherwise it's a rhetorical trap not worth engaging.

Oh, I think they should have another debate. Double or nothing.
Give us some bread to eat whilst we watch joe the clown of the circus do mental gymnastics
