The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation is a ""defensive"" military alliance.

The only people bringing us closer to a third world war are the ones who are invading.

And at this moment in time, that's Russia.

Ukraine has the support of the NATO nations for a very important reason.

One way or another the buck stops there.

And if Putin does not like it he can nuclear sabre rattle till the cows come home.

Because thats about all he will do given the M.A.D world in which we live.

NATO are not invading, that's the Russian Federation.

NATO is providing the weapons, training, ammunition, intelligence, and targeting systems logistics.
Ukraine is basically setting it up, under nato supervision, and pushing a button.

It is what it is Vermilion.

And equates to the likes of a bunch of former farmers holding the Russian bear in check with superior NATO toys and equipment.

But they are fighting for their very survival as a nation and clearly are not ready to capitulate to the Russian scum invaders.

They are not ready to roll over and give in, nor should they be given the nobility of their cause.

Give some one like Putin and inch and they will take a mile.

I absolutely agree with you.
F Putin.
I just think we need to keep it real and recognize this is just a proxy war which Ukraine is, barely to this point, scrapping by with their manpower.
I don’t want my country in any more proxy wars.
Especially ones where needless deaths won’t change the outcome.
