I guess that's one coherent way to look at it. How things change, now everyone is entitled to their victim mentality whereas before only those consensually discriminated were. DEI works! Everyone gets to be a victim from discrimination.

If discrimination is a thing today how big would that slice be on a pie compared to so many other factors holding a group back?

Indeed. White privilege most definitely doesn't mean in todays world as it did back in the day. It's become more of a derogatory term than anything else.

It's ironic how a once exclusive European concept, liberal democracy, had seeded the demise of white privilege.
Once the ideas of liberal democracy began being used in multi ethnic nations, white privilege rapidly eroded away.

They should just call it "I haven't made poor life choices my whole life privilege". Everything they have listed as white privilege I have had none of it and here I am somewhat successful with a successful family, why is that?

This comment is not directed at the OP [original poster] it is just my general thoughts.

I hear a lot of online losers use the term white privilege. It is usually either a very what I call wannabe black person, usually female. That is an actual black person who refers to themselves as "African american" even though they come from Jamaica or Haiti or whatever. The idiots. The rest of them are all white. They are all white people talking about white privilege. So who has the issue here?

I dont have an issue but like....it doesn't endear you to black people just because you as white people yet again attempt to subjugate us by "apologizing" for your white privilege. You don't magically become an "ally" to black people because you think you have some special privilege due to being white and you feel bad about that. Just more losers trying to make themselves feel superior. Do you feel superior? You should not.

It is very disingenuous. "I'm so sorry for all my success and that you don't have 50 dollars in your bank account, you know its cuz you're black, right? And I'm white!" Get outta here with that.

White privilege in itself is a racist idea because it claims that others cannot get ahead because we are not white. Which is a just a lie because I am far ahead of most whites I see both financially and otherwise. Life is what you make it and if you are lazy and don't do anything that transcends color of skin all day long.

Im a member on some sites that let's just say are supportive of Hitler's mission and was all over the big stormy one before it got shut down. You know what? Nobody can tell im not white. Not one person. And I had and have friends on these sites who would probably shun me if they knew I wasn't white. Or worse. Why is that? I'm cool!

That is what we should work on. Skin color doesn't matter at all and anyone who is any color who says it does is an idiot.

I gotta point out for one, 'white people' are a minority on this planet, yet have historically held a ridiculous amount of "wealth" comparative to other "races" of people. I went over as to why earlier in this thread, but seems to go ignored. Europeans literally created their wealth out of thin air, and then forced it on each other Europeans to go do the bidding of other rich Europeans, that created their wealth via religious persecution, lordships, monarchies etc, etc.

The interesting thing is that in todays world Chinese Han have been doing to exact same thing, created a privileged class and spread it around the the so called developing world. Yet, no one notices this, and if it is pointed out, you're "racist".
So if the Chinese do it, in todays world, why couldn't "white people" have done the same thing?

I agree with a lot of Thomas Sowell says, but he's a very one track minded man, an economist, who speculates a social science. He's not a historian, an archeologists, an anthropologist, etc. His views on the world aren't set on trying to dig deeper into history, it's that of "what worked and what didnt work" for human civilization.

And other cultures/societies/ethnicities didn't do the same?
The difference is Europeans were just a damn sight better - or more efficient may be apt - at doing it than others.

And regardless of why or how any of that happened, it doesn't mean that every white person around today has enjoyed some sort of mythical head start in life because of the colour of their skin or that they are granted special privileges.

But of course colonialism is a dirty word nowadays.....unless of course you happen to be any other colour/race other than White. Russia are obviously exempt from this.

you build a small town with famly and frinds.
10 years later 200 blacks arive.
they are upset that you have all the White Privilege.
and Make you share every thing with them.
you have to have 8 famlys in each home.

the blacks can not farm are hunt so they make you feed them.
you are slaves, becuse they can not hunt or farm.
so all the whites sneek away.

you move far away and start over.
life is great agine. 10 years later!

The people how buit up the great citys Should own and live in them.

I have no idea how you have taken that I 'think people deserve to die of hunger' from anything I have wrote, ever not just in this thread, here on ATS or anywhere else.

Look pal, I'm not the one complaining.
I just find it mildly annoying when people try to tell me I've had some sort of head start in life and have been granted certain privileges simply because I'm White when the reality is I haven't.

I'm quite happy just carrying on living my life the best I can.

But when I see and hear people wowling like wee bairns about how bad they've had it and how easy I've had it or when others try to engage in pseudo-intellectual psychobabble in order to push an agenda or to look somehow mentally superior I sometimes like to point out a few realities.

Are you trying to imply that 'we', White people, are about to face some sort of retribution?
How, When, Why and who from?
No flowery prose or cryptic nonsense which in essence says nothing of substance whatsoever, just straight forward honest answers.
