White Privilege or just Statistics?

It sure looks like People who use the phrase White Privilege have confused Abuse with Common-Sense Statistics.

About 15% of the Population is Black.
About 50% of the Population is White.
That's not Privilege, it's just a natural consequence of the Statistics.

Anyone using the phrase is either showing they either aren't understanding the Statistics, or that they are manipulative enough to use other people's Gullibility.

Would you hire someone who confuses Statistics with Abuse?

Or are Honesty and Statistics going to be outlawed soon?

I guess that's one coherent way to look at it. How things change, now everyone is entitled to their victim mentality whereas before only those consensually discriminated were. DEI works! Everyone gets to be a victim from discrimination.

Apples and oranges. White privilege is a misnomer. In any country with a majority of natives, the natives will be more often than not preferred by their peers.
This is the case in every single place on this planet.

We are humans, bound by the biology of our brains and evolution. These preferences are for resons that helped us to survive in the past.
Anything else is manmade gobbledygook used for agendas and political reasons.

Yes, we can force ourselves to override these evolved traits, but it will be on manmade laws, ethics and current trends.

What I find astounding is that it is ok for absolutely every person in other countries to favour their peers and it's called culture and bAUtIfuL 🤪 but when caucasians do it we are (insert derogative insult).

This to me shows only one thing, it's not whites who are privileged, it's everyone else apart from us.

I doubt anyone will have or be thinking about privilege in the wrong neighborhood, white or black or whatever. We need ET to show up and humble the human race enough to get over ourselves.

that's like reporting more black people are killed by cops than white people. if you use a low number against a high number to compare, of course the percentage for the lower number is going to be higher than the high number.

it should be per calls responded to, not number of population of each.

There were nations of people there before the first European stepped foot on American soil.

And since there was no law that gave them legitimacy, they were all illegal immigrants.

I was raised and still live on a council estate in North East England, the arse end of the world as far as most people are concerned. I haven't had a thing handed to me in my life.
As I progressed in life I had more doors slammed in my face and disgusted looks because of my socio-economic background than I care to remember. Ive had the derogatory comments about being a thick Geordie/Northern Bastard/Monkey who doesn't know his place in life blah blah blah.
I don't think some on here would be surprised when I say I always pushed back hard and even kicked some of those doors off their hinges.

Nowadays there are quite a few Black/Asian people who have achieved remarkable success in this country mostly by hard work, endeavour and enterprise and I have no doubt many of them have faced horrific racism at times.

But then there are those Black/Asians who come from affluent middle-class even upper middle class backgrounds who have been afforded every opportunity and break that their families money have bought.
They've been given every advantage and the same doors that were slammed in my face would have been opened freely to them.

White privilege my arse....its money privilege.

I'm not excusing racism, racism is horrific and should be opposed at all times......but this alleged white privilege is absolute bollocks.

No; white people have no recourse for DEI discrimination when someone with far less qualifications gets a job or position soley based on their skin color, gender disporia or ethnicity.

Dei is uplifting no one; it is bringing the majority of the population down to a lower level. We got plenty of examples in all the incompetent DEI hires in government who aren't-or won't-able to do a satisfactory job.

When people talk about white privilege, in a more serious tone, they are referring to the unintended consequence of white Europeans investing into only other Europeans. Yes it is a money thing ultimately.

Europeans used their systems of banking, insurance, and investing to push their markets beyond European reach and as a consequence the people followed the money and settled everywhere.
A prime example is of course the trans Atlantic slave trade, or the initial soldiers of fortune hired by Hernan Cortes didn't have sets of armor and weapons lying around their houses, they had it all loaned to them and had to pay back the investor. And the investors were attempting to fill a market elsewhere, in China, their lust for silver.

Now multiple that scenario thousands of times all over the world, and now take into consideration that Europeans weren't investing into the native people, they were investing into themselves. They created the privilege for themselves.

Native Americans used to jokingly poke fun at Europeans settlers because they worshipped money and people who didn't even stand on the same land as them. Settlers pretty much bought and sold as a privilege.

All my Grandparents were Irish.
When the slave trade was active my ancestors were digging up tatties in a bog in Ireland for an absentee landlord in return for a barely subsistence level existence.

No white privilege there.

The point is white privilege was a consequence of white Europeans leaving Europe, what happened in Ireland is a example that its not about being white, it's about the people who set up systems to benefit them that spread around the world and imposed those European systems on "non white" areas of the world.

It's always been about the money and profiting off other people.
