Chinese blockade
Surface action groups made up of cruisers, frigates and destroyers deploy off Taiwan’s eastern coast, surrounding the island and cutting it off from easy US reinforcements or resupply. The ships, and the missiles they carry, act as air defence barriers, shooting down any American aircraft that get close to the island and any incoming American missiles aimed at Chinese landing ships or troops.

Submarines deploy further east, using stealth and torpedoes to stop any US battleships or aircraft carriers from approaching Taiwan or trying to break the Chinese blockade.

A huge decapitation strike targets every airfield and port on Taiwan, destroying aircraft, ships, radar, air defences and command posts.

Missiles also target US bases in Japan and on Guam to stop Taiwan’s allies from coming to its aid.
