Sad to hear tho.

Oh, spiffing. My cat, Carl, has just brought a live rat in. Gone under the washing machine and he's lost interest and sat on my lap looking pleased with himself.

Cheers, mate.

There's a rat in me kitchen what I'm a gonna do?

Idiot.

Hope like feck its not pregnant for a start.

On a more serious note if its not departing rat poison or a trap.

But watch with the cat if you use poison.

I've heard it was mainly Serbian and Albanians and a few English fans who were in the wrong place at the wrong time got caught up in it.
Of course the English fans will get the blame for it.

England's performance was about what I expected.
Teams have started worse in the past and gone on to win the tournament.
One thing is certain, if England are to have any chance they will have to improve dramatically.

Surely Scotland can't play as badly again?
I think its the first time I've seen a Scotland team play with such little passion and commitment.
Hard games to come as well against Hungary and Switzerland, both are decent teams.

I'd move out.

I'm petrified of rats.

As much as i love my country and the game, im not taking that bet mate.

Hopefully they pull a trick or two out the bag, but im not holding my breath.

I stopped worrying about football long ago all the same.

I imagine Newcastle aren't getting the instant results billionaires are used to. He'll probably stay there, but If they part ways with Eddie Howe then he'd be my top choice.

But you're right, there's no obvious candidates. I think Graham Potter's still free! Could do a lot worse. I think he'd utilise our strong forwards with attacking strategies; Southgate's strategy seems to be recycle until theres an absolute sitter you can't miss - only then are you allowed you shoot. So many crosses into the box available and almost always it's turn and pass backwards until it's back at Pickford's feet

As i said originally the issues with Southgate is always going to be feeding Kane. Last night proved once again that he has no idea how to do that. He has only a possession game attempting outdated tiki-taka so badly that the players get more knackered in possession that out of it. Hilarious watching them go sideways-sideways-backwards-sideways and the Serbs barely needing to shift left and right in response.

I left the kitchen door open so hopefully it's gone.

Will get some poison.

You're right about Southgate. He's all about possession but not using it to attack enough.

A while back, we rescued two Wood mice from Muffett's jaws (Muffett was our late lamented cat- she made it to 20 years).

We kept them in a mouse cage and were happy with a hamster wheel and everything.

We assumed they were same sex. Then one morning a year later we came down to lots of squeaking. Babies!

When they grew a bit we let them go, far away from Muffett's hunting range.

Bless them.

Yes it was. The replay showed it clear as day. Hand in an unusual position. Blatant.

Perfectly summed up.

I think Southgate fancies himself as some sort of football tactics sensei.....he's not, he's woeful.
