As we know, former Attorney General William Pelham Barr has been both a CRITIC and a SUPPORTER of the President he worked for, Donald J. Trump. He doesn't mince words.. i.e.: In 2022, Barr (correctly) stated that the 50 Intel officials who signed a letter declaring Hunter Biden's laptop contents as Russian disinformation, are "Lying Political Whores".

Regarding former President/Republican 2024 nominee Donald Trump's conviction in New York City for a "Hush Money" crime pertaining to Adult Film Actress Stormy Daniels, Mr. Barr says...

Former Attorney General William Barr called the New York hush money case against former President Trump an “abomination” in a Wednesday interview, and said he was confident the guilty verdict will be overturned on appeal.

“When people were talking about it, I said that the case was an abomination, and I didn’t think it was going to be brought at the end of the day, because it was so vaporous,” Barr told Fox News’s Jimmy Failla.

“I was surprised they went ahead with it,” Barr said about New York prosecutors. “And it’s met its billings — that is, it was an abomination, and everyone’s talked about that.”

“But you think about, how are the American people going to react, in a very close election, if Trump loses and this case is overturned — which it will be,” Barr added. “This case will be overturned.”

Former Attorney General Barr is right about what would happen if President Trump loses to Joe Biden by a small margin, and shortly thereafter, Donald Trump's criminal conviction is reversed-overturned. ALL HELL WOULD BREAK LOOSE.

it all depends on what judge is assigned to the case. a real judge will overturn it. a Democrat will not. too bad New York is run by corrupt Democrats.

It would help if you looked into the case. The anti-trump DA ran for office to target Trump. That DA turned misdemeanors into felonies and thanks to Democrat governor of New York passing a law to extend deadline for filing charges during covid. The corrupt DA was able to use misdemeanors that have already passed statute of limitations to go after Trump. Kangaroo courts in New York. Did you know the Judge hearing this case donated to Biden campaign and where his Daughter works. It's a big conflict of interest.

Why didn't the previous DA charge Trump six years ago. Why did Biden #3 DOJ lawyer step down to lead the case against Trump. It's a pure political attack on Trump to try and prevent him from becoming 47th President.

Those on here saying he committed a crime and he was found guilty I would ask you these questions.

1. What actual crime did he attempt to commit that qualifies this as a felony and keeps it within the statute of limitations? Book keeping error is not a crime. No one so far, not even the judge or DA can actually name a crime.

2. And this one is the one that I dont feel you can be honest with yourselves about. Do you actually believe this wasnt politically motivated. And are you fine with the next sitting president going after his political opponent with the justice system next election cycle?

Make no mistake here. This is setting the stage for what will become our third world government. This is not the kind of thing that happens in the US. Ironically, you're the one wanting him treated differently. Everyone is entitled to an appeal if there are reasonable grounds, which there are. And everyone is entitled to having their conviction overturned if there was impropriety, which there was.

You want him to be denied due process for purely emotional reasons. If it was up to you, he wouldn't even have got a trial. Just straight to prison because of who he is so you could feel better.

Out of curiosity, how was this fair and irrefutable? Because you got the verdict that you wanted, nothing more and nothing less.

A trial with accusations and charges that didn't match the crime, an expired statute of limitations, a trial with charges based and predicated entirely on the conviction of a different crime (that he in fact wasn't charged with, tried, or convicted), all in front of a judge that should've either recused himself from the case or had a motion to disqualify filed for the conflict of interest in political donations to not only the Biden campaign, but an organization called "Stop Republicans" - donations which are prohibited, of which an ethics complaint was filed and investigated (but nothing of substance came with it other than a warning, as judicial committees are set up to protect themselves, but that's another thread for another time).

That's your "FAIR AND IRREFUTABLE" criminal conviction?

I mean, I'm not a fan of voting restrictions by way of certain tests, but with the amount of people that think this way nowadays, intelligence tests as a requirement for voting are sounding more and more like a good thing.
