When the convict him of 34 felonies and he raises more than them. Priceless.

I wonder what his sentence is going to be? Probably not prison obviously, even though any normal person would’ve already been put in jail for the way he behaved during the trail.

A few thousand hours of community service I think would be a good outcome here.

Any normal person would not have been indicted in the first place - so there is that.

Why would he not get prison for 34 felony convictions?

Well because his an ex president and just may be the president again. If nothing else the logistics just don’t work, since he has to be protected by the secret service 24/7. It’d just be really messy to imprison him on so many levels.

Besides, if you forget about the 10 Contempt of court incidents, he is a first time offender and it’s a non violent felony with no mandatory prison time.

Why do we try people in a court of law in this country?

Too dangerous , it would make him the martyr his supporters want him to be and open all kinds of political problems with him being a Candidate in the election , no doubt he will get a fine plus add ons but prison probably isn't an option.

Why do we try crimes in the US?

You seem to put a lot of weight into that gag order which was unconstitutional and a blatant violation of the first amendment.
Can you name another person who has gotten one of those?

To keep society safe.

In this case, we're talking about a passive, white collar crime in which no one was physically hurt or threatened, plus it's a first offense. I think he'll get probation.

Is spending the time and money on 34 felony convictions keeping society safe?

Oh, you already answered that:

So you you can admit that this is a political prosecution.

Thanks for coming out!

To be fair, most people don’t need a gag order to tell they can’t attack the Jury or the Judges family members at there own criminal trial, since it’s kind of just basic common sense you can’t do that.

Really , you don't see the difference between imprisoning Donald Trump Presidential candidate and Donald Trump property developer , as I now understand it Trump could be President while in prison , would that be a good look for the United States.

It still boggles my mind that someone convicted of fraud can still be President , you guys crazy.

Are you saying there exists a two tier system?

Again, my question is why wouldn't a convicted 34 count felon not get some jail time?

Oh hell no!

It's white-collar crime and it's a first offense. Most white collar crime, in which no one was Ponzied and no little old ladies lost their life savings, gets probation.

Reporting legal fees accurately accounting wise for a lawyer obtaining a legal NDA which is a legal contract as legal fees is a crime?

Given they have done this and taken it this far, then they HAVE to jail Trump.
He's not going to do anything other than tell the assessors to go f* themselves during the sentencing process.
He's already told the judge and the DA to go f* themselves repeatedly.
They have concocted not one but 34 felony charges and found him guilty in their kangaroo court.
The mouth breathers celebrating what has happened are not going to be happy with a fine or probation - they are already mentally masturbating at the thought of the orange jump suit pictures.
They will be crying about Trump being above the law unless they get their dream fulfilled

No, Democrats have to see through what they started.
No backing out now.
