The R's killed an investigation by the FEC that happens to have a D in the executive branch?

Any more tall tales you wish to share?

No books were cooked! Invoices. Gl entries. Taxes. Checks. All of this was legal. This also all went down days before the election.

The prosecution could not show and could not prove how anything was falsified.

Merchan just told the jurors that there is no formula for determining a witness' truthfulness.

Really?

Unless somebody actually proves something 😊

So far zero in this trial. 🤤

You are more than welcome to read the links provided in this thread. It explains it to you. That's usually the best thing to do before you accuse others of "telling tales". It took 2 out of four to kill the decision to move forward.

I've been away out of the country a lot, so I haven't posted much, so you may not know, I will always provide links. No tale telling from me.

I interact with lots of people at all income levels every day. (Sales/Transportation/Delivery)

95% of Americans have not followed this case closely enough to give an informed opinion...including yours truly, and I'm here every day reading what's being said.

The alleged crime is not as simple to understand as storing Top Secret National Security documents in one's garage for years, as Joe Biden did.

Somebody paid money to Stormy Daniels so she would squeal about Donald Trump boinking her. That's all most people know about, and most people really don't care, because this "crime" is so common. Falsifying records? Another "yawn". Barack Obama did that, got fined by the Federal Government, and went on his merry way.

I 100% believe that you believe what you are told.

Your history here is also very transparent....

It's really simple Dude. Trump is being accused of overseeing the "cooking of his books", in order to affect the presidential election and protect his candidacy.

But that is ignorant on it's face. Trump didn't write the check or the person in accounting make the journal entry until well after he was elected. So his crime appears to be that he had an NDA with a whore, and his lawyer facilitated it. Can you explain it as if you were totally understanding of the situation and you want to explain why.

So again, I'm gathering you did not read the link and download the pdf and read that. Only 2 two posts from you to determine that you have no interest in actually gathering information.

You'll fit right in with the popular crew.

So why is Trump held to a different standard?

You do remember that Micheal Cohen went to jail, while Trump was cited as a co-conspirator, that couldn't be charged because he was a sitting a president, right?

Well, he's being charged now. There is no double standard, there is only delayed justice being brought forward now, finally.

Let me put it this way.

Your assertion is laughable on its face.

Especially in conjunction with existing precedent.

Still no actual proof Trump ever boinked Stormy.
BOTH have denied it...and her story has changed 4 or 5 times (most recently on the stand when she attempted to imply Trump actually raped her).

Also...it's been shown that her story was already out in the media years BEFORE the payment was made and long before Trump said he would run for President.

2 Republicans killed the further investigation.

That’s your interpretation of it.
Why hasn’t that been brought up in this trial by the prosecution?

To everyone that knows better, there was no crime, therefore no charges.

You can attempt to spin it all day, the bottom line is there was no crime according to the FEC that actually investigates those types of crimes.

LOL He signed the check.

I'm not here to argue the evidence with you. I'm just telling you what the prosecution is saying he's guilty of, because you pretended to ask.

Apparently, the evidence is strong enough for Trump to declare that even Mother Terressa couldn't beat these charges. So, there's that to argue with too.

I remember all sorts of false allegations levied at Trump.....

If this is justice delayed, then why are the charges nebulous and the precedent broken?

except what Cohen pled guilty to was not a crime. His lying was, but his paying the whore for an NDA is leagal. The fact that they paid the hot playboy model as well, and did so before Trump even ran for office kind of pokes a few holes in your theory. They even had a witness from the department in question ready to testify that this wasn't a crime, but the totally fair and unbiased judge won't allow it.

You can't make this illegal without being full of sh!t.

Then why not charge him with the same crime? They did not. Most of you keep referrring to all of these crimes attached to the charges.

Where is the conspiracy charge? Not there. The charges are for fraudulent business records.

Again.

Invoice. Check. Update General Ledger. There is no crime.

Says the person who has no knowledge on what the Election Commission found. You made a statement that they didn't ever do anything. I advised you that they did, they initially found both Trump and Cohen liable before it was killed from going further. Told you where to find the information. You refuse to read it.

Ummm.. OK.

Carry on with the whining, and snide comments.

I am trying to find somone on your side who actually understands what the crime is. So far, we have TDS and hurt feelz, but nobody who is inteligent enough to explain why, based on the evidence given, this is a crime. I have litterally capitulated to most of the facts entered, yet still don't grasp what part was illegal. You are sure he is guilty, so explain what he's guilty of, or admit you just don't like him.

and this is why people think differently about the case....

We’ve moved on to the third and final portion of testimony that the jurors wanted to hear from David Pecker. This excerpt pertains to the August 2015 Trump Tower meeting in which prosecutors say, Pecker, Michael Cohen and Trump entered a conspiracy to suppress negative news about Trump during the 2016 election.

This is from the NYT live feed...you are being fed information that does not pertain to the case. It sounds bad. Calling it the Hush Money Trial but it is not.

It is funny, doesnt Trump preach that states should regulate their own laws, but then takes issue with the judicial process in NY state?
