It looks like we could have a jury verdict in the NY v. Trump trial as early as sometime today.

The biased and conflicted judge Merchan is about to instruct the jury ahead of deliberations and the jury will begin deliberating today and have likely already made up their minds.

So, we have a highly conflicted judge and an extremely left-leaning NY jury. The safe bet should be 'GUILTY'...however, the prosecution has presented an extremely weak case...all based on the testimony of an extremely biased serial liar.

In the end, will the jury see through this scam case and place justice over personal politics?

Take your best guess...and let's see if we have any Perry Masons here at what's left of ATS.

MY PREDICTION:
The odds are against getting a NOT GUILTY verdict, because this isn't a fair trial...the judge is a joke and the venue for jury selection is extremely hostile to republicans in general...and Donald Trump, in particular.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a NOT GUILTY verdict...and if the trial were held anywhere else, with a fair judge, the jury would absolutely return with that.

BUT...my GUT says we will get a 'Hung Jury'.

What say you, ATS?

agree with hung jury.
the dems purposely selected this judge so we know what he wants to do.

my gut feeling tells me not guilty. somehow the man has always gotten away with his sh... so far, he just knows (or at least his lawyers) how far you can go legally, so this time it will look the same i guess. that's the advantage of being rich.

It's New York and a biased jury, so I'm going with guilty, but he wins on appeal.

Remember, this is not about sending Trump to jail, it's all for the optics and keeping him off the campaign trail.

This has backfired on them so badly, they have no choice but to see it through without revealing the real reason behind it.

All Trump needs is 1 normal person on the jury that understands the Dems are and have been targeting him for the last 8 years.

After listening to the interviews with many New Yorkers on the street even by the Liberal MSM outlets that show they are tired of the Dems lawfare against him, I have a pretty good feeling that Trump might get more than 1 normal person in that jury.

But we’ll see, nothing will surprise me at this point.

Edit - I would love to be that 1 juror that pisses on the Liberals parade.

If anyone would like to file a formal complaint against the Judge here are the instructions.

portal.311.nyc.gov...

"You can make a complaint about a Supreme Court judge in New York City. Judges who engage in misconduct may be admonished, censured, or removed from office.

By law, all complaints must be made in writing, signed, and mailed to:

Commission on Judicial Conduct
61 Broadway
Suite 1200
New York, NY 10006"

If what I'm hearing about the jury instructions is true, it'll be a guilty verdict with a slam dunk appeal. I don't think they're interested in actually getting a conviction to stick. They're just wanting to be able to label him as a felon.

There is no doubt this is what they're doing.

I'll be shocked if they come back not guilty. That's the proper verdict, but least likely.

I think they're gonna find him guilty. Hung jury seems most likely but they'll be pressured to reach a unanimous verdict and the not guilty jurors will fold.

Do you know anyone in the "real world" who,if they were a juror in any case-would convict anyone due to the testimony of a proved and convicted serial liar and proved thief?

I don't.

But this isn't a normal trail, and I doubt its a normal jury either,so Trump could well be found guilty.
If that does happen-I doubt it will have the effect the democrats are looking for.
I think a guilty verdict would make Trump get more support, not less.

Not a Trump supporter or American BTW-but hes obviously the better choice if its between him and the Biden cartel.

Sadly guilty, everything is stacked against him by design. It just shows what a joke our judicial system is and how broken it is. He can’t get a fair trial in NY, just ain’t happening.

That's what it looks like to me. I doubt he'll win on appeal either though. The appeal just goes to a higher court in the Democrat political machine (NY doesn't have a legal system anymore. It is very openly a Democrat political body and has nothing to do with justice.) He isn't likely to win an appeal anywhere in this Democrat system.

One possible avenue is they try to get it into the federal system on the grounds his 6th amendment rights were violated since the NY prosecutor didn't specifically define the full crime. Once it gets into the federal system, it'll get overturned.

Of course, all of this will push it past the election so they'll be able to say he's a felon during the campaign, which is all they care about.

There are two lawyers on that jury. If they are any good and honest, there would be jury nullification.

It being New York, the best outcome to expect would be a hung jury so the whole thing starts over again.

I can't see all of them agreeing on guilty but I would not be shocked if they did.

They still have presented no clear evidence of any crime, not to mention that for there to be a conspiracy, there needs to be a crime to conspire on. The prosecutor has not even mentioned that crime that doesn't exist.

Some polls have asked about this. There are a subset of swing voters who aren't sure whether this is or isn't politically motivated, but if a conviction comes in will settle on it's not politically motivated and would pull their support from Trump.

This election looks like it's gonna be close, so that could be enough to sink him.

Seems most likely that the two lawyers are Democrats. Who else becomes a lawyer in NYC?

I'd heard that one of those lawyers is a DEI attorney.

That’s not going to make any difference to people that were already going to vote for him.
They know the trial is a Democrat scam.

And I think a lot of people on the fence recognize that it’s a scam as well.

Only the most hardcore, severely brain damaged Dem supporters that weren’t going to vote for him anyway, still believe the trial is legit.

Nah I think even less people support him now. His actions at the LNC proved without a doubt to independents the kind of person he is.
Also he hired Cohen so Cohen lying really shows the caliber of people Trump hires. Not a good look for gus defense.

If you guys have ever been right about anything, I might be worried.

But you haven’t, so I am not.

It doesn’t change the FACT that the trial is a scam, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that.
