Surrounding countries don't want to facilitate the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and they are very much in favour of a free Palestinian State.

Why not free the Palestinians from their oppressors, Hamas. That is the real problem. Also, the surrounding countries don't want Hamas to spread. That is why they don't want the tribes of the region of Palestine in their countries.

You have lots of love for one side of this conflict, and total animosity for the other. This current conflict started on October 7th. If you think that you can jusitify any of this by using revisionist history, you are only fooling yourself, and the other simps out there.

You claim to care about the 30,000 innocent lives, but you don't give a rats ass about them other than to use that number to justify screaming "genocide". If you could have gassed them all on day one you would have to get the numbers needed for the public outcry to "save GAZA!!"

In 2014, Israel recognized Palestinian freedom. They pulled out of Gaza, and let the Palestinians rule themselves. They voted in Hamas (with their charter stating their goal was to wipe out Israel and all Jews.

Think about it, before the new port the US was building in Gaza, Hamas attacked the contractors building it.

We were building the port to supply humanitarian aid to the citizens.

The answer to me is obvious....of course they want peace....as soon as Israel and the Jews are destroyed.

By acknowledging war crimes are being committed, and citing specific Geneva Conventions, you acknowledge Israel as the occupying power. And you are acknowledging the international legality in breaking up the territory into hundreds of A, B, and C segregated enclaves.

And it's not like our segregation, where people just wanted a coffee and donut at the bar, this is because there is a chance they belong to jihadist brigade and possess deep militant anti-israeli sentiment, as is typical with the occupied power.

Which is actually in a grey area since Jordan relinquished control. The question can be legitimately asked if they are even an occupied power.

You either have to drop the claim of war crimes or the claim of sovereignty. Even if you hold it to be sovereign, you have to acknowledge its legally Israel administered territory at minimum.

People tend to see only that which they wish to see, and choose only to believe what they wish to believe.

Self deception is a hard habit to break.

I don't have any particular objection to Palestine being recognized as a state. Candidly, they have as much right as Israel does to be a state. However, Hamas, on the other hand, is a completely different story. Hamas is a terrorist regime and should be treated as such.

Palestine could do themselves a huge favor by distancing themselves from terrorist regimes like Hamas and casting them out of the society for the terrorists they are. By allowing terrorists to hide behind innocent civilians is a grave oversight by Palestine. Palestinians didn't attack Israel, Hamas did, and if Palestinians allow Hamas to call themselves Palestinians then they should be prepared to deal with what goes along with it (i.e. death and destruction).

In the west, we have a responsibility to relentlessly point out the difference between Hamas and Palestine.

So, to this end, statehood is fine...provided this statehood does not include Hamas. Ship them off to Iran, they love terrorists.

How do you deradicalize the West Bank support for the many martyrs brigades? All between 70 and 90 percent support.

Withdraw from the West Bank as concession?

Will that thwart radicalization or give them the victory confidence they can still destroy Israel?

Fatah was a good start for two states, but they lost popularity and power (in Gaza) for acknowledging Israel. How do you turn Fatah into the lead by example government of Palestine? How do you turn them into the half of Iran that wants to go back to 1967 as well?

Israel isn't helping, but thow does a two state solution come from this...

Saudis and Emirates. I think it goes from them.

Specifically, Saudis need gaudianship of Al Aqsa before two states can go anywhere.

I think those are all good questions which, along with my statement, highlight the complexities of the issues in the region.

Drawing from your implication, you are correct in that there are few 'easy' answers to many of these questions. Hey, life is hard sometimes, and people need to realize the solutions often take sacrifices, but the people in search of these solutions need to weigh the sacrifices of things remaining the same, or bringing about true change.

Terrorism is more than a crime, it's a disease, a virus, which must be eradicated at all costs. The difference between war and terrorism is, war has an enemy combatant. Terrorism, on the other hand, sees everyone, including innocent citizens, as the enemy. Terrorist's enemy is security and the lack of fear, because terrorism is all about fear. Fear is terrorism's biggest ally. This is why terrorism can never be allowed to exist.

So long as it's the real Palestine in the West Bank and not the fake Palestine run by Hamas in the ruins of Gaza then cool.

You may want to consider what was offered to the Palestinians before coming to your conclusions. Point of the thread is the widespread support for a free Palestinian State.

Maybe they want some of there land back that has been taken away over the last fifty years in increments...
