Iranian Lawmaker Declares Iran Has Nuclear Weapons

For the record, I don't believe this guy.
I think that if Iran had nuclear weapons, they'd be using them already.
Tel-Aviv would already be nothing more than a smoldering hole in the sand.

Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani, an elected member of Irans version of parliament, said that he believes his country has nuclear weapons. I think he's just guessing. I don't think he has any special information on this. Although, I could be wrong about that.

After the head of the United Nation’s atomic watchdog agency warned that Iran has enough uranium to produce "several" nuclear bombs, a firebrand Iranian lawmaker declared on Friday that the Islamic Republic of Iran possesses atomic weapons.

"In my opinion, we have achieved nuclear weapons, but we do not announce it. It means our policy is to possess nuclear bombs, but our declared policy is currently within the framework of the JCPOA," Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani told the Iran-based outlet Rouydad 24 on Friday, according to an article published by the independent news organization Iran International in London.

The JCPOA is an abbreviation for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the formal name for the Iran nuclear deal. President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the JCPOA in 2018 because, his administration argued, the accord did not stop Iran’s drive to build atomic weapons.

The JCPOA provides massive economic sanctions relief to Iran in exchange for assurances it will not, within a limited time period, build a nuclear weapon.

This article is about a member of Irans parliament saying they have nukes.

The Dome of the Rock is in Jerusalem.
Tel-Aviv is a Jewish city in Israel.
And it has always been the one on their admitted hit list.

Israel has them in the arsenal as a deterrent for other countries not to attack.
It is defensive for Israel.

Iran, on the other hand, have already said that they would use them offensively

I suspect that there is a group in Iran right now that is training to hand deliver a small nuke to Tel Aviv. The barrage of missles and drones launched at Isreal several weeks ago seemed more like a test than an aggressive response/attack. Keep an eye out for big lead boxes

Its not even a comparison. I dont really like Israel or the things they do, but they are definitely less crazy and fruity than Iran.

Extremely doubtful.


Iran may have a nuclear device (easy enough to design one for a technological State), but until they successfully detonate their device, they cannot claim to have a nuclear "weapon".


And every Iranian mullah and technocrat is well aware of the fact that there is no practical way to "hide" the detonation of a nuclear device: sensors around the world will report the explosion.


They also know that once that test is detected, a very big bullseye will be placed over Iran, and a very big fuse will be lit.
