The prosecution proved Trump and his bodyguard were together just minutes before the phone call where Cohen claimed to contact the bodyguard and speak to Trump about the Stormy payment.
lol, huge blow to the defense…
Nobody ever denied they weren’t together.
Costello said on the stand that Cohen said numerous times that Trump didn't know, that Cohen did it on his own and that Cohen repeated that numerous times.
That sound you hear is the fat lady singing.
Cohen confirmed liar again.
Merchan considering dismissal.
Actually, that’s “he said — he said”
Does he have any pertinent verifiable proof?
He has as much proof as Cohen has.
Except Costello isn’t a convicted felon who went to prison for lying.
Don't think Costello ever admitted under oath to stealing $60k from an employer either.

I’m hearing putting Costello on the stand was a complete disaster. Even the jury were rolling there eyes and laughing at him… the Judge even cleared the court room at one point.
A complete train wreck of a witness.

The prosecution already brought up the money Cohen kept, the jury knew all about it. Wasn’t any big revelation… just another nothingburger from the defense.

How will -- known fact: "Trump doesn't pay his workers" -- affect this trial?
How could it. The trial is LITERALLY about him paying someone after they submitted an invoice. See how silly that is?
. . . that's what YOU say.

Cohens finished testifying and the defense didn’t get anything more than a few little points, which the prosecution cleaned up on the redirect anyway. The whole thing about keeping the money really means nothing since the jury already knew about, probably actually gave him more credibility seeing him openly admitting to it.
Then the defense bring in that train wreck of a witness… not looking good for Trump.
