I am very "obtuse" when it comes to slamming "Bibi" for taking the most bloody route. When, soon after October 7th, he vowed to take out the men who supply HAMAS...which was the least bloody solution.

As President Trump stated in mid-October, Netanyahu will likely not take out the top people, because, based on his (Trump's) experience with Bibi, Bibi is either afraid to, or is compromised in some fashion.

Every action against civilians has been called a war crime. Don't conflate Hamas with civilians. I am sure everyone can differentiate between these two.

Evacuate? To go where? There is nowhere they can go as their place from the North of Gaza to the South has been bombed relentlessly over the past few months. It's called ethnic cleansing, one of the many war crimes Israel has committed, together with mass murder of innocent civilians.

There's one other possibility - Bibi thinks war is good for his career.

Shocking to think a leader who keep a war going for political benefit - but it does happen.

He and many other officials, politicians and military personnel, are in a very difficult position and can't go anywhere outside Israel. Not unlikely arrest warrants will be issued for the crimes the Israeli Armed Forces have committed in Gaza. There is literally nowhere to go and the US will not shelter them.

Those that kill babies because of the ethnic or political group of their parents are sick murders and war criminals.

Some more information on the ceasefire that Hamas offered Israel.

It said it would swap DEAD BODIES instead of living hostages.

Israel said it agreed to a ceasefire including LIVING HOSTAGES and it would just be a temp ceasefire unless Hamas gave up it's position and arms. Hamas screwed with the agreement and said it would be for DEAD BODIES and a complete end to the war, with Israel leaving Hamas in charge and armed.

Hamas changed the language in the cease-fire deal it accepted Monday to count the bodies of dead hostages in a proposed swap for Palestinian prisoners, according to a shocking report.

The deal signed by Hamas also included an end to the war in Gaza — something the Israeli side said it would not accept.

But one of the biggest changes reportedly came in the language around the 33 Israeli hostages who were set to be released in exchange for a cease-fire.

While the original deal called for 33 living hostages, Hamas changed the wording to include 33 hostages “alive or bodies,” officials told public broadcaster KAN TV.

Israeli officials have blasted the proposal as significantly different from what Israel had initially said it would agree to.

How many times they are accurate and reliable and how many times they are not? .

Sooner or later the war will stop. It's better if it stops now and they negotiate things. Just as I have always said from the start of the war when others dismissed negotiations with Hamas. But that's what seems likely to happen with Uncle Sam pushing behind the scenes- he has elections in November.

I looked at FOX online because the opening post said that it was being reported on FOX TV. So I checked their online site to see if that too was reporting the same news, to verify what the opening post said. It was not reporting what the author said he heard on TV.

Not when the enemy gives you no choice. Were the fire bombing in Germany and the Nuclear Bombs dropped on Japan “crimes” because they wouldn’t surrender.

If Hamas that hides as civilians, cowers behind civilians, that sanctioned murder, rape, torture, kidnapping of civilians on Oct 7th would have surrendered, then many more people would be alive today.
