They are quite right and from legitimate sources. Maybe not the most accurate because Bibi and the IDF are not the most reliable sources but even if we use their version of reality we can see why there are so many civilians deaths.

By their own admission they have killed at least 16,000 non combatants i.e civilians. Hence they admit to mass killings, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.

As a comparison, Hamas has killed 1,200 Jewish people (800 of them were civilian).

I understand you are trying to downplay the number of civilian deaths in Gaza but the Israeli Government has just accepted and admitted they have killed at least 16,000 innocent civilians. That's an admission of mass killings, mass murder, war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Israel is so isolated and has been condemned for killings so many civilians by most other countries that the only choice they had is to give an 1:1 ratio of the number of civilians to the number of combatants killed by the IDF.

However only a few months ago the IDF has given a 2:1 ratio of civilians to combatants killed. Talk about lies and deception.

Anyway, they have admitted what they have done and the path from now on is to find the true number of dead people in Gaza. It's obviously many more with a lot of people missing or under the rubble and with a higher ratio than the 1:1 given in a moment of desperation.

The UN has never said what you claim here i.e the numbers are not the ones given.
