Columbia University has announced that classes at its main campus will be held remotely for the final weeks of the semester — as critics blasted the “weak” administration for allowing anti-Israel student protesters to shut down the college “in essence” and called on parents to seek tuition refunds.

Classes on the university’s Morningside Heights campus will be hybrid — “technology permitting” — through the end of the spring 2024 semester on April 29, the letter said.

Hybridization of the classroom (forcing students to participate virtually) was their way of saying we can't legally segregate but legally we don't have to let anyone in the building either. All you annoying kids can stay home and pour your frustrations out on Twitter where it belongs. Basically remote work but for students who invest more energy in raising hell on social media than their assignments and then complain their degree doesn't qualify them for the jobs they wanted because they didn't build job skills outside of class, for obvious reasons.

The assaults on Jews continue. If this were assaults on black people, it would have been stopped by now and called what it really is. Useful Idiots and their supposed 'peacefully protesting" ..

Israeli and U.S. flags have been set ablaze. “We are Hamas!” one protester yelled, just outside the campus gates, while banging a pot against a police barricade. “You guys are all inbred,” one protester screamed at sophomore Jonathan Lederer and some 20 Jewish students singing songs of peace on campus Saturday, just before the pro-Hamas faction threw water in their faces and hurled projectiles at Lederer’s head and chest.

The anti-Semites also chanted: “We say justice, you say how? Burn Tel Aviv to the ground.” Also: “Hamas, we love you. We support your rockets, too.”

“Go back to Poland!” another pro-Hamas thug screamed at a Jewish student. “We all know how things turned out the last time the Jews were in Poland,” he said on Fox & Friends this morning.

“The environment at Columbia University is absolutely dreadful,” graduate student Xavier Westergaard said Monday on America Reports. Campus police may not do anything “when presented with issues ranging from ‘I’ve just been spat on,’ ‘I’ve just been yelled at,’ ‘I’ve just been kicked.’ People are yelling, ‘Jewish students die,’ ‘Jews go back to Poland.’ This is insane. It feels like anarchy, and we are not being supported by our university.”

Even more ominous, the yarmulke-wearing Westergaard recalls walking across campus to his laboratory just days ago. “Students who were partaking in this protest called me out by name. I don’t know how the hell they know who I am. They shouted out my ID number. They told me that they knew I was a PhD. student in neuroscience and biology. It was very, very scary. I wasn’t carrying an Israeli flag. I wasn’t antagonizing them. I was just going about my business.”

That’s all very disgusting and sad to read and to think once upon a time this was one of our best Ivy League Universities in the Country. Columbia is one of the hardest schools to get into also. So, this is some of our supposed “best” students?

The hatred in America is becoming a powder keg ready to blow up. No doubt in my mind that there will be a terrorist attack in the country sooner than later. Hope I’m wrong but don’t think I am. These people were issued desk appearance tickets:

Asif Ali, 24, of Queens;
Tracy Jawad, 24, of Brooklyn;
Bassel Yassein, 27, of Brooklyn;
Harrison Frahn, 22, of Brooklyn.

All four were charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, while Ali and Yassein also face a trespassing charge.

Those four MIGHT actually be in that college ... but the usual ages for college people on campus is 18-22. So having four people aged 22, 24, 24, 27 is odd.

I googled ...

Bassel Yassein is a common Saudi Arabia name. If it's the same guy that I found, he graduated from CUNY in 2021. So probably not a student at Columbia.

Asif Ali is a common Pakistani name. There were a few people by this name from NYC. All employed. So probably not a student at Columbia.

Tracy Jawad came up that she was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. Went to college in London. Lives in New York.
Writes for an Arab newspaper. So probably not a student at Columbia.

Harrison Frahn doesn't come up.

So why are these Hamas huggers causing problems at Columbia University? They don't belong there.

The charge is too lame for me, they should be charge under terrorist treat laws.

There's two protests going on. There's the encampment that's actually on campus that has remained peaceful. Then there's one outside the school's gates that seems to be made up of more unsavory elements.

I remember when the idea that outside elements showed up at leftist protests to fan the flames was just a "right-wing conspiracy theory." Now you've got the Democrat mayor of NYC saying it.

He also commented on how most of the tents are the same and that it's obviously getting support and funding from an outside element. Another "right-wing conspiracy theory" that's true.

Remember, the standard at Charlottesville was even if there were people there just protesting for the preservation of history or the first amendment or anything else, as soon as one racist showed up, Democrats said everyone else should've went home because that's what a decent person would do. The fact that they stayed showed that they supported whatever the worst person present said or did.

That is the standard the Democrats set.

So every person at a protest where one person claims to be Hamas are all Hamas, terrorists under US law, and can be arrested just for being there. Everyone there supports the assault of Jewish students. Everyone there supports genocide.

Of course in Democrat cities run by pro-Hamas Democrats, the police will never be allowed to do that.

It doesn't help when people like you suggest genocide and pretty much give Hamas a pass when it comes to deaths in Gaza. So, Hamas is saying 33,000 have been killed, and there are over 50,000 Hamas fighters, maybe 100,000, who knows. It is estimated that easily over 20,000 of that 33,000 are actually fighters, but they do not break it down other than to say 33,000 women and children that many eat up in their "oh the horrors" genocide rhetoric.

So 13,000 is still a terrible thing, but when you are completely embedded with a population that supports you, raises little warriors for you, a population that allows Hamas to use kids as spotters, and even gives them guns what would anyone expect numbers would look like? For me I'm surprised they are so small.
