But ultimately it’s the conflict that has enabled them to have this position. They could still make the world pay more if they produced 400k barrels a day or 3m. Because on the global scale that’s the difference of about 2% of the oil produced per day.

So if we’re looking at what is the single largest variable here, it’s the conflict.

Markets operate on supply and demand. Their supply only accounts for 3%. Meaning if they pulled it the max amount the market should respond is 3%.

But if the world is worried about a broadening war, the price can increase more than the supply impact because of broader regional responses to said conflict.

So I’ll circle back to I’m sorry bud, but implying the US, or it’s president is the one to blame is a phenomenal stretch.

Again...it all comes back to the original US sanctions against Iran, which US President Biden refused to enforce...and which, thanks to Biden, then allowed a previously nearly bankrupt Iran to again fund it's Hamas and Hezbollah proxies to initiate and sustain their attacks against Israel with better weapons, ammunition and funding.

Thanks to Joe Biden, Iran is now flush with oil money, financially back on it's feet...and in a position to manipulate the oil market in a very beneficial way to them through believable threats against Israel.

Before Biden took office, Iran was financially on the ropes and the regime was ready to fall.

Now?...Well, here we are.

90% of their oil is sold to China who aren’t part of those sanctions anyways.

Their production also went down in 2020 because COVID and the OPEC+ trade war made prices go negative.

So again, there’s more to this than just US policy.

Israel and Netanyahu also funded and helped prop up Hamas to divide Gaza and the Wedt Bank into two governing bodies instead of just being the PLO.

You can make a case that US policy has a slight impact on all of this, that’s fair. And we are Israel’s biggest ally.

But you’re stretching to blame the whole conflict and oil prices on domestic US politics… something Israel hasn’t tried to do.

So Israel hits an Iranian embassy, Iran like most countries is at least talking tough that they’ll retaliate

In my 6 years of service I got to spend a little time in a few of our embassies around the world.

The US Marines tasked with protecting those embassies are some of the toughest hombres I've ever met.

Remember Hillary Clinton's massive clusterf#ck at the US embassy in Benghazi? One US Marine held off dozens of armed asshats by himself until he was eventually killed by them.

To the day I die I will NEVER forgive her for that.

Thanks for your service, my husband retired as a Marine, he spend time in all three campaigns in the middle east, even he said that god forbid we got a major conflict again somewhere in the world, because with the president we got, terrorist will be running with weapons in our streets and all he and democrats will do is apologize for them.

Just picture third work country where factious groups run the streets.
