So your saying the school in question here will be sued?

Why didn't you say so without arguing?

Nope.

Your words not mine.

Well then. What are you saying?

This isn't about equal rights this is Karen's pushing an agenda. Bottom line is this after school club could easily have been approved if it did not involve religion. The problem becomes how would you discuss religion in the first place just a simple topic would take days as you start with the Bible them Koran and by the end of the week native American beliefs.

This is simply an underhanded means of getting someone's agenda into the school. They could have just as easily said this is the city of " insert name" community outreach program.

They specifically wanted it to be about religion which means adults are pushing agendas. Oh my shock they allow gay children to meet after school bit don't allow religion. Grow up people this is the problem today everyone wants to be offended and push there will onto others. Seriously how does this make any difference in the world yet here wr are arguing over it just like it was intended. As I said could easily start a club without the religions involved and offend no one in the process

Yes, it is.

And that’s the only thing it’s about.

Any school administrator who’s “on the ball” would know about possible lawsuits if the school started a religious club.

“IF” — I wouldn’t want you to miss the “IF”.

OH so your saying that's the reason for the denial? I get it. But don't school admins with high college degrees use lawyers for legal advice?

Wrong first there are no rights being violated here. I don't believe I read in the constitution the right for kids to create after school clubs. There is definitely no right to practice religion in any form as it will always leave some group out. There is no such thing as a non denominational meeting because if it were they would even be able to discuss what to have for lunch.

As I said this is adults playing games using the children to push an agenda.

That is exactly what LGBTQ is doing.

I guess 11 years olds discussing gay sex is a pretty discussion.

As I stated.

Any school administrator who's "on the ball" knows about these lawsuits.

They are very cautious in allowing anything religious -- as in an afterschool club.

Nothing to do with the LGBTQ+ club -- other than the OP saying:

A Washington state school allows LGBTQ student groups and Green student groups and a dozen other student clubs, but it won't allow an 'Interfaith Group' student after-hours club that wants people of different faiths to get together to serve the community.

Pennsylvania school district agrees to $200K settlement with The Satanic Temple for After School Satan Club

An eastern Pennsylvania school district has reached a settlement with The Satanic Temple in a lawsuit that alleged the district discriminated against students by barring one of the group's After School Satan clubs from using a school building earlier this year.

The American Civil Liberties Union said Thursday that the Saucon Valley School District had agreed to pay $200,000 in attorney's fees and to provide The Satanic Temple and the After School Satan Club it sponsors the same access to school facilities as is provided to other organizations.

The ACLU filed the lawsuit in March after the district rescinded its earlier approval to allow the club to meet following criticism. The After School Satan Club, with the motto "Educatin’ with Satan," had drawn protests and even a threat in February that prompted closure of district schools for a day and the later arrest of a person in another state.

Only that it could be.

And -- yes, I am sure they would converse with a lawyer.

However, any school allowing a religious club must allow ALL beliefs.
Does this interfaith club include Muslims, Satanists, etc?

It's not a religious club. It's an interfaith public service club. Nothing about public prayers or teaching faiths or anything like that. People of ANY faith who want to do public service come together to do so.

YES! It is a religious group.

And you're telling me Satanists are welcome.
They already have a club to go to,the pride club. All perverts, deviants and sickos welcome.

Has this school rejected a request from students to form an after school Satan club?

I have no idea.

But due to lawsuits other schools who wanted a religious club could only have them if they also allowed a Satan/Atheist club.

Just the facts.

Then, what does "Satan" clubs have to do with this school prejudice issue? 😃

What facts?

It's been repeated on this thread.

Equal Rights.

Yes, so you agree if the LGBTQ club is allowed then so should be the interfaith club?

Don't bother even answering, it's a waste of time trying to talk to you as it's like trying to reason with a crazy loon (impossible).

Has the LGBT movement become more of a religion?

What do you think?

If its an after-school club, how can they stop her, considering it would be out of school hours?
