This philosophy goes back at least a few thousand years.

Sun Tzu said not to rely on the likelihood of your enemy not attacking. Rather, you should make your position unassailable.

MAD is partially tied to this kind of thinking as well. And MAD is widely credited for why the Cold War never erupted into a hot war.

If victory isn't achievable because your enemy is too strong, rational actors will avoid war.

Edit: Reagan called it "peace through strength." It has had a lot of adherents over the centuries because it works.

Wow, you’re about as willfully ignorant as they come. I’ve seen the ads for a couple of those meds and had to laugh, particularly these two” Paxlovid” and “ Veklury (remdesivir)” they screamed scam since they’re under patent and ivermectin isn’t and available in generic form. Do you know how that works when it comes to big pharm’s profits? Nothing more than big pharm scaring more people out of their money. Labeling it with a “vid” at the end should make it sound official.🙄 Do you even know what’s in those meds?

almost ineffective against COVID-19

Really??? “Almost ineffective”? Pathetic argument you got going there. Hate to tell you but there were way more than three drs that found benefits in ivermectin. Funny how you complain about people cherry pick’n info when that’s all you do.

No, it makes the news every time it occurs.

That’s a big fat lie, are you seriously this brainwashed? They’re doing EVERYTHING they can to suppress that info from coming out. If you don’t know this then you’re not paying the slightest bit of attention and probably shouldn’t bother speaking on the subject. Sorry but the truth and facts goes against your narrative there buddy.

Tell me what’s the difference between a vaccine and a vaccine “booster”? You’ve had enough of them, you should know this or do you need to google that too?

I had a vaccine when I was a kid, never needed a booster, nope. Crazy that you’ve volunteered to be their lab rat, you are the test of their experimental vaccine and boosters. Good luck with your vax and all them boosters you let them pump in your body, you might need it.

My last post to you, don’t want to derail the thread any further.

While pregnancy tests can detect HCG as early as 10 days after conception, they're not really accurate until a missed period. Considering the timer doesn't actually start at conception but instead at your last period, a missed period is usually right at 6 weeks, if you're lucky.

My daughter used to have a period -- maybe once every 6 months.

She was told by a doctor she was incapable of getting pregnant.

SURPRISE! She was almost 5 months pregnant before she new she was.

I hope the situation helped you to understand the failures of the medical profession.

She had/has a condition.

We lucked out with a miracle baby -- all of 3 pounds -- but he made it.

Nice to hear the baby made it! I hope all is well with your family.

Every graph you posted shows a drop after the media and democrats threw this country into a state of panic, and you STILL don't understand why...

SMH

Sure, COVID-19 had an effect. The point is that before that drop, Trump's performance on several indicators (that he boasted about), was fairly average.

Everything was more affordable and the tax cuts we got also affected businesses (not sure why people screamed about that), and we were all given big bonuses. Things were going real good, at least for the middle class. Now we're working overtime just to enjoy a few good things every now and then.

That is because Trump was paying for everything on credit.

It's always great until the repayments bill arrives.

Unless you can make bank like Trump, YEP. But you meant he was incapable I know... carry on all you who hate the truth like this unit here and see how that works in the end.

Awesome to hear! I have friends who had challenges with children that didn't end as well. Last week an 8 year old who had M. Dystrophy passed away. Grandma left such a touching message that I cried pretty hard. I let them know I was thinking about them. I can tell you care for yours too. We do have some common ground.

I am a major supporter of LIVING CHILDREN -- worldwide. I am very child focused.

I am not a supporter of "popping one out - just to pop it out". We do not need any more unwanted children.

Ivermectin is under patent (there are 12 US patents for it, and more across the world):

Ivermectin - Generic Drug Details - DrugPatentWatch

The only brand of ivermectin designated for human use by oral route in the US is STROMECTOL owned by Merck Sharp and Dohme. Other generics are either topical, or are for animals.

Do you know how that works when it comes to big pharm’s profits? Nothing more than big pharm scaring more people out of their money. Labeling it with a “vid” at the end should make it sound official.🙄 Do you even know what’s in those meds?

The ingredients in FDA approved medications must be stated on the packaging, or in a supplied data-sheet. Many of the ingredients lists are publicly available online.

almost ineffective against COVID-19

Really??? “Almost ineffective”? Pathetic argument you got going there.

It does appear to have some effect, in some studies, but the positive effect are statistically very small and the dosages required to achieve them are at toxic levels.

Hate to tell you but there were way more than three drs that found benefits in ivermectin. Funny how you complain about people cherry pick’n info when that’s all you do.

The majority of Doctors, the FDA, the AMA, the CDC and even the manufacturers of ivermectin advise against its use for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19.

Merck Statement on Ivermectin use During the COVID-19 Pandemic

There are some doctors who advise their patients of all sorts of snake-oil therapies, which provably have no effect. It does not mean that an endorsement of any of these individual doctors is credible nor does it override the consensus opinion of most doctors, academics, drugs manufacturers, or health and regulatory authorities.

No, it makes the news every time it occurs.

Here's an MSM example, from the height of the kick-back against the Pfizer immunization here in New Zealand:

New Zealand woman's death may be linked to rare vaccine side effect - report

Then how do you even know of these cases? Hint: They are all over the media, especially the many sites that carry little else other than COVID-19 conspiracy theories and anti-vax messages.

Tell me what’s the difference between a vaccine and a vaccine “booster”? You’ve had enough of them, you should know this or do you need to google that too?

"Boosters" were not an invention that happened with COVID-19 immunizations. Most vaccines that are given in the U.S. require several doses to render immunity.

As examples:

- ChickenPox (Varicella) immunization requires 2 shots (the first dose at 12 through 15 months old and a second dose at 4 through 6 years old).

- DTaP immunizations require a schedule of 6 doses for full immunization. (At 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 15 through 18 months, 4 through 6 years and another dose at 11 to 12 years of age. Also recommended is a single dose of Tdap during every pregnancy, preferably during the early part of gestational weeks 27 through 36. Adults who have never received Tdap should be given a single dose of Tdap and this should be followed by either a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years].

- MMR immunizations, 2 doses are recommended (the first at age 12–15 months, and the second at age 4–6 years).

- Meningococcal immunizations, 2 doses are recommended (at age 11 or 12 years, with a booster dose at age 16 years).

- Pneumococcal immunizations, generally 4 doses is accepted as full immunization.

- Polio immunizations, 5 doses (at 2 months, 4 months, 6 to 18 months, and 4 to 6 years, and a final dose at age ≥4 years).

With those details in hand, I would suggest that you have no idea of your own medical history in regard to immunizations.

My last post to you, don’t want to derail the thread any further.

Thank you.

That depends on who you read.

Being sensitive to how people hear things doesn’t mean letting Trump tell lies about Biden’s record and then hemming and hawing in its defense. Trump inherited a good economy and didn’t screw it up—until a crisis hit that he was completely unprepared for and lied about constantly and refused to take responsibility for. Biden inherited a horrible economy, got us out of that crisis, suffered through a price crisis that also affected the rest of the developed world, but is now presiding over the greatest monthly job growth in history (yes, at 289,000 a month) and is keeping his core campaign promise of shifting wealth from the top to the middle and the bottom. Why is it so hard to tell that story, Democrats?

Those ‘jobs’ are all government jobs and part time gigs. Zero manufacturing jobs.
Everyone needs 2 or 3 jobs now because Bidenomics so you really can’t count that as job creation.
Biden is as bad if not worse than Jimmy Carter.
That’s saying something.
Did you think Carter was one of the greatest presidents ever too?
