Some began violently pushing and even trampling other Gazans to death, looting the humanitarian supplies," he said. "The unfortunate incident resulted in dozens of Gazans killed and injured."
Israeli tanks, he said, "cautiously tried to disperse the mob with a few warning shots" but pulled back "when the hundreds became thousands and things got out of hand".
Another IDF spokesman, Lt Col Peter Lerner, said some civilians approached a checkpoint which was about 70 metres (230 feet) away and ignored warning shots fired by the soldiers there.
He said the soldiers, fearing that some of the civilians posed a threat, then opened fire on those approaching in what he described as a "limited response."
Which is nothing like the claim “The IDF has acknowledged that they have shot a crowd of desperate people who just wanted to eat.

IDF chief spokesman, Rear Adm Daniel Hagari, said civilians surrounded the convoy and people began climbing on the lorries.

The first thing the IDF should do is control humanitarian aid in its controlled area instead of causing famine among the population in Gaza.
And secondly, since they don't manage the distribution of food, don't be so stupid as to shoot at the desperate crowd.
Yeah ... Hopeforthefuture was quickly and easily debunked on that one. The IDF never said any such thing. In fact, just the opposite. They said they were in self defense from attack.

They have openly acknowledged attacking "civilians."
Any news that those who attacked were armed?
You certainly do not discredit me even in your wildest dreams,

If I read that right the convoy of aid wasn't supposed to stop there. They attacked the convoy and started removing the aid shipments. That would explain people being crushed to death as in any aid situation you have to have crowd control
However that still leaves firing on the crowd not sure of the excuse they saw this group as a threat. Considering they were already dealing with a massive group and were withdrawing at that moment.

What would security do? The IDF had a tank at the check point?
