What legal difference would it make if petitioners are Republicans or Democrats, or any other "Party"? 😃

Since we're talking about Republican Primary ballots, Democrats wouldn't have legal standing.

ETA: But don't worry, I'm betting that SCOTUS will kick this back to Congress and the Democrats will have their chance on Jan 6th 2025, should Trump be reelected.

If it were that cut and dry, we wouldn't have constitutional scholars arguing their cases before the US Supreme Court.

We had biased partisan hacks trying to argue for their narrative.
They should have been embarrassed for themselves.
The law is simple and clear.

Everyone born in America and who has reached the age of 35 and who has lived in the United States for at least 14 years has a right to run for office of President of the United States, unless they are disqualified by being found guilty in a federal court of law of insurrection or treason.

So you agree?
You posted links to the FBI document so in your opinion the FBI is the sole deciding factor here? Even though they absolutely are in fact not.
I'm trying to understand you?

Why hasn't the DOJ indicted anybody for insurrection? The DOJ is the authority. 😀

And yet, 2 state Supreme Courts and one state's district court has ruled that Trump is disqualified based on the 14th A, S3, and the US Supreme Court is currently considering the arguments they heard from both sides.

FBI already said there was no insurrection that day. 😃

The Congress had already impeached Trump for incitement of insurrection.

FBI did not issue statement clearing Trump for Capitol insurrection

What the FBI did say was that the attack was not centrally coordinated, but they have filed conspiracy charges against several who were convicted.

The trespass of the Congress buildings were not the insurrection. The insurrection was the attempt to disrupt the transition of power contrary to the election result. The attempt to seize power in direct contradiction to processes defined in the US Constitution and legal statutes.

Where's the indictments for insurrection in Federal Cases? 😀

Lets Review this Again shall We ?

Jan. 6th - WE THE PEOPLE go to Washington D.C. to Voice Our Grievances and Concerns as is Our Constitutional Right being Lawful American Citizens over Evident Peculiarities Observed in the 2020 Election Vote Counts , and in an Effort to Petition Government Representatives for an Explanation as to Why these Peculiarities in the 2020 Presidential Election took place were Denied an Audience by Our Elected Representatives , and where our Concerns were Refused to be Addressed by them thus causing Mass Confusion .

As Apposed To ..........

Jan. 6th - An Insurrection Perpetrated by Violent Extreme Anarchists Storm the Capitol in Washington D.C. in an attempt to Violently Overthrow the Federal Government of the United States without the Use of Deadly Force .

In Retrospect , which in your Opinion Actually took Place ?

Shamelessly using their positions to push their agenda.
Trying to subvert and twist law to deny due process and proper elections in this country.

STATE level trying to usurp FEDERAL level.

and the US Supreme Court is currently considering the arguments they heard from both sides.

Because the law obliges them to.
Not because those trying to shut down Trump had a good case or not.

For the umpteenth time squared....
Holding the office of President of the United States is a privilege. It's not a liberty/civil right.

For a State to disregard the selected front-runner is just insane. If they were true to their convictions they would just opt out of the whole thing, which is also insane, and to use a civil court or just a judge rule is beyond insane.

Not to mention that all the States had to have judges certify petition signatures to get a name on a ballot. 😀

Starting a false campaign that he won the election qualifies as an insurrection.

You deflect by bringing up BLM.

What court cases have proven that? 😬

And I am sure none of that was politically motivated due to them being liberal judges. I am sure that they just upheld their oath to get to the truth and uphold the law. Which lawyer for Donald Trump tried those cases? Do we know what evidence was submitted and argued? You know full well this was just a suppression technique that was only meant to cripple the opposing parties ability to gain power. Pure weaponization of the legal system in some of the most liberal portions of this country. The sad thing is that it will not save them. Trump was not going to win those states anyway so go ahead and play games. Justice will prevail.

Where's the IL ruling? I think they also included exclusion from the Nov 5th ballot too 😀 Was Trump indicted? Was Trump represented in court?

I haven't been able to read it. So far, the only copy of the judges ruling is behind a paywall at the New York Times. Trump's lawyers formally appealed the ruling yesterday.

Exactly and from what I have seen just in my state and other areas I have traveled. The movement to get our economy back is growing. Whether you are liberal or conservative you cannot deny the # state of our country and the complete overspending on everything but help for American citizens and I believe they are completely scared about the fact that there is a good chance their typically liberal voting states may fall. If they can at least stop him from running or even keep their state from counting at all they will have a better chance. Its just math. They would rather fall on the sword than have those votes go to Trump.
